    I went to a Vodafone store to get one of these last weekend, only to be told that it was an online deal only. I wish I'd known that Kmart (and apparently Big W) had these - I ended up having to buy an Optus unit with 5Gb for $49 at Officeworks.

    It came with Pocket wifi extreme. I also got unlock code from VF free of charge.

    May I know when the 3Gb data expired? I understand you have to use the 3Gb data in 30 days after activated it. If I didn't activate the SIM with 3Gb, what's the time period would be the valid time? 1 year? 3 months?

    BTW this pocket WiFi device is for 3G network only, LTE not supported, isn't it?

      Vodafone SIMs don't have expiry date. A few weeks ago I activated a 3GB one included in $15 Pocket WiFi 2 bought 2 years ago. Was able to activate & SIM-swap to micro-SD free at Vodafone shop (am using in $79 unlocked Vodafone 4G phone as modem), but easier online.

    Tried to grab one at Hawthorn vodafone shop,the guy and girl there responsed with anygry face that the device is not for prepaid. Then i showed them the prepaid section on their own site, they kept ignoring me without any further explaination and ended up with careless answer: i just go somewhere else,they dont serve it here…..best service experience ever
    Been a customer for 3 years and this is what i get back from Voda"fail"

    Vodafone stores have the PocketWifi Extreme for $24.50 (not $29.50) with 3GB, so even better deal until November 4 ;-) I asked in store today.

        Did not buy the $24.50 prepay offer as I'm happy using my 4G phone as a modem for a while. That offer was at Vodafone Garden City, Brisbane. 2 other Vodafone CBD stores quoted $29.50, as is an online deal.
