  • Max $20 savings in their terms and conditions but max spend $200.
Something not right there with their terms and conditions. Anyway thanks OP, would be nice nice if you could stack vouchers with the gift card deal posted earlier.

    • Page now says "maximum $100 spend" so looks like they fixed it.

  • +3

New customers only and they can't do their maths. Max $200 spend on 20% off = $40 but the value is $20. Nearly as bad as Woolworths.

    • Just sign up with a fake account

      • Tried, the only way to sign up is by mobile or facebook, I trialed this garbage months ago using facebook which linked to my mobile so I can't sign up again on the same mobile. If there's a trick to do so just to get the 20% off coupon, I'd love to know.

        • Easy do what I did, make a fake fb account :) takes 2 mins

  • 20% off a few pre-orders might be worth it. Need to pre-order the new Just Dance for WiiU game and Pokemon games but if history repeats itself they'll be cheaper at Target/Big W :(

  • +3

idk about others but i find jb's cd's are more expensive then other places.

    • Is there anywhere else you can buy CDs apart from specialty record stores anymore? Big W and Kmart only stock top 40 + compilations, and it seems like everyone else went out of business.

      • Target?

  • just did, thanks OP
    max $20 discount

    Yhm

Thanks dude, got voucher now. Will make some cheap blu ray cheaper.

    • should really only get it for games cos they regualarly have 20% off dvd and blurays anyway

      • should really buy your games on steam as they regularly have games for 75% off

        • +4

they sell xbox and ps4 games on steam?

      • Yeah I have no consoles anymore :( also it's been two months since the last dvd/blu ray sale and I just got blu ray so itchin'

  • Connection to Facebook doesn't work. It won't load any other page…

  • Can i use the voucher to buy any preorder games?

    • Try it………and then tell me.

  • +1

    @zenna - It states pre-orders are excluded.

    • Yeah that sucks :(

  • +4

Just tried to use this instore, note

    1) you must have a hard copy as they need to scan the barcode

    2) each barcode is unique

    3) does not stack with other instore offers, like the buy 2 get 1 free promotion

    Gave up

  • What happens when the trial is up?

  • Is it the usual deal where you have to give payment details and cancel before the month is up, or get charged?

    EDIT: it's not

  • +1 if it was online as well.

    • I don't mind going in store every now and then, you can find some good deals while your there.

  • +1

Has anyone received the voucher yet?

I signed up using Facebook on the PC this morning. Am I missing something?

    • +1

I got my voucher when signing up with my phone # but nothing when doing it through FB, not sure if it's buggy or what.

    • Got mine within 2 mins of signing up

    • Got mine instantly to my Facebook email. Used it already. Diablo 3 for $55.20, ooh yeah

      • Yeah there are quite a few games for $69 atm at jb then use your 20% off voucher :)

      • you used the 20% voucher already? you went into store or used online? as mine says in store only.

EDIT: nevermind says in store in description also.

        • +1

Sorry, was busy playing Diablo. (Went in store)

    • Signed up last night, and again this morning on a different account, still nothing

      • I have signed up 3 times. 1st and 2nd time with facebook - no voucher for either. 3rd with a mobile number - got the voucher straight away.

        Does facebook work properly?

        • Iused it and within 2 min got the email

        • Found the emails in the junk folder.

  • Just made a new facebook account just then since mine was already used :(
    thanks op
ps: can you use this voucher on more than 1 item?

Jb now is the worst, Luckily I get it free as I work for JB. But way better ones out there !

  • Is this in store only or can it be used online and what about buying online to pick up in store?

    • +1

      Yeah in store only

  • seems like the T&C's have changed

This offer will run for a limited time only and JB Hi-Fi may end or change the offer at any time without notice although JB Hi-Fi will provide at least 60 days’ notice to existing Eligible Subscribers. JB Hi-Fi reserves the right to make minor changes to the offer which it believes will have no material adverse impact on Eligible Subscribers at any time without notice.

for all other voucher codes, the period of one calendar month after the email including the code is sent to the Eligible Subscriber by JB Hi-Fi.

    • Looks the same to me

      • Cant seem to see anything about not been able to use the voucher on preorders now unless im missing it :/

and it seems they are going to be sending these vouchers out each month if you keep the subscription going

        • Yeah it will say The exclusions when you receive your voucher man in your email. Look at the terms on the voucher :)

        • @TRENT86:

:( the only games i want would be preorders >.< all well

  • Nice Share op!!
Registered last night with wife's mobile and just grabbed a copy - Tales of Xillia for PS3 today.

note: Chatswood Chase branch has "day one edition" for the same price as the normal copies @ $59

    • +1

Np m8 Glad to share :)

  • was there a spend limit on this as went there today and they said cant be used with my item it was a exclusive edition blu ray,it was priced over 100 and they just took the discount off anyway, maybe i got luck or was there and issue with mine.

    • Yes there is a $100 limit. Says in Post :)

    • Same, when I went to use it, it didn't work saying my purchase (Blu Ray exclusive too, but under $100) didn't qualify. There was lots of debate and discussion, they processed it in the end but was painful about it. They tried to argue it was expired, given there was no date on it. Also asked whether I had already used it.

      • isn't that the whole point of it been unique so they can tell if its used or not ? Sounds like they are doing a EB and have deals but make you jump through many hopps to get it

      • That's odd… When I purchased items totaling $118, the coupon applied without a problem and the maximum discount of $20 was applied to reduce my final price to $98.

  • Ok thanks then i must have got lucky i thought it said at top 200 limit, they did wonder why it was not working but ended up putting it through so looks like as the item was more than 100,is the reason it was not working.

    • Glad you still got the deal :)

  • I noticed that they've got all versions of Disney Infinity for $30 now, so becomes almost reasonable at $24 after discount. Nothing like clearing the decks ahead of the release of the new version.

    • There is a special offer for Wii U owners where they can get infinity upgrade for free in North America which just started, im hanging out to see if Aus get same deal

      • It's certainly a handy offer for pre-existing Disney Infinity owners on the Wii (or on Wii U, if you prefer digital downloads).
If you don't have the base and characters yet it won't be so much of a bonus though, given they'll likely set you back more than $24 just by themselves if picking them up second hand

        • True but if you got the digital version on wii wouldn't you have the characters already for that version?

        • @TRENT86:

Sorry, to clarify, yes, any pre-existing owners get a nice bonus that they can use their existing base and characters on Wii U at no extra cost, agreed.

  • Has anyone been able to get multiple vouchers? I have tried with a different facebook account however the serial number below the barcode seems to be the same.

  • If other games are cheaper elsewhere do you think you can get them price matched and then use the discount? I imagine they would not price match then further discount?

also anyone know how long this is on for? could you use it for FIFA 15 Ultimate Ed for example?

  • Thanks for this! I was able to buy Destiny with a nice discount. Cheers!

  • Thanks OP. The voucher is the same for everyone though and is valid … until JB pulls the "promotion" I guess.

    http://oi57.tinypic.com/qyhg5s.jpg

    • Yeah just noticed that the other day :) thanks for confirming it for me

    • So voucher same for everyone?
Mine didn't turn up in mailbox so I'll just print this one out

      FIFA 15 here I come!!!

  • Signed up last week and got the 20% voucher email right afterwards. Used it to get FIFA 15.

  • Has anyone actually used this (not-so-unique) voucher yet?

    http://oi57.tinypic.com/qyhg5s.jpg

    • Yes, it's the same as everyone elses.
