Got email from IKEA:

Roll out of bed and come in store in your PJs during our week long New Year event and you will:

  • Receive a $10 IKEA voucher
  • Maximum of one voucher for each family where at least one member wears their pajamas in store.
  • The vouchercard can be picked up from the store greeter.
  • Present this voucher at cashline for redemption.
  • Voucher is valid on one single transaction.
  • Not valid for use in the IKEA Restaurant or Swedish Food Market.
  • Promotion will run between Monday, 01/09/2014 and Sunday, 07/09/2014.
  • Voucher valid on day of issue, not transferable for cash

      Shame de-emphasis : wear skins, bring backback with pjs. Slip on pjs just before checkout. Remove and repack into backpack straight after checkout. 5min work (max) = $10, which after tax would be equivalent to at least $13. Worth the 5min effort?

      They have $3 can openers and cheap batteries if not sure what to get with your $10.

    I used my $10 voucher and got the $10 children tent. Awesome! Beware though, I almost didn't get my voucher because they said trackies and t-shirt doesn't count as pajamas. Should of rocked up with a snoo snoo cap.

        The other night when I went to get the umbrella's.. saw two guys who I thought might have been a couple.. one was wearing a giraffe onesie and the other some posh looking sleepwear.. they didn't look like they were in any hurry to leave :)

        Me personally I'd prefer doing it bank robbery style..
