  I bought it when DSE had a 15% on their ebay for $287 delivered.
  Even with a Dual core CPU, its still pretty laggy. And it was laggy out-of-the-box, even without any user apps.
  What probably makes it laggy is the crap-ware installed on it. No way to uninstall it unless I root it.
  But it is mostly used for kids watching videos, so I am not too keen to root it just yet.

  Disastrous resolution and insufficient RAM. Wouldn't purchase one even for $100 less.

  Got this one with an air-con installation so it was a bonus, and would NOT recommend this tablet. Going to check into rooting it because it is that bad. Samsung never again.

  Paid $160usd + $20 delivery ex US frome ebay. (Refurb) All came in a white Samsung box with plastic on body and screen, as new.

  Bought 4 units for my staff to use. Wouldn't pay $300 for it though.

  Not a bad price compared to usual but the usual price is a rip off. With the exception of screen size, this isn't better than a 2012 Nexus 7 which you can sometimes find for $99 refurbished.

    Just glanced at AnTuTu scores, this tab scores around 24k vs nexus 7 at 12k. That would suggest it offers some improvement in performance over the older N7. Still wouldn't want this device at this price.

  I have the tab 2.
  First thing was to root it and put CM on it.
  Now it works
  Samsung know how to stuff the OS on their tablets
