Silverstone Sugo SG10 $89 + $~30 Shipping@PCCG

70

First post, thought I'd share

Silverstone sugo sg10 $89 plus shipping ~~$30 to Sydney. Basically a sg09 but prettier with a aluminium front end grille instead of plastic. Awesome matx enclosure at 23l which is very hard to come by.

Cheapest on staticice for Vic, NSW and possibly qld. Cpl are same price with possibly chapter shipping but low stock, call to check. Wa have ple at 109 so probably cheaper there.

Next cheapest is $135 at umart

  • So what makes this such a great buy over other cases?

If you have to ask, you won't understand.

So just go and buy a Shaw case from MSY.

      • Elitist comment. F++ would not read again

      • I actually did a couple of budget builds with Shaw cases recently.
Had to insulate the PSU and fans with a bit of rubber and switch the power and reset buttons around as the power was acting as reset.
Would I do it again? Yes for low power budget builds.
        Everything has it's place.
        Personally I prefer full towers.

    • That's a legitimate question but the randmness has already pointed out its perks, metal front grill and small size (23L). The latter could be a downside if you're planning to cram a lot of stuff inside (e.g. running crossfire) and cable management/air flow may suffer because of it. Otherwise it seems like a good buy for ~$120, but could had cheaper at some other places as has been highlighted.

    • It's bigger on the inside! ;-)

Granted, not such a great deal, only about $10 cheaper than what I've paid for it over a year ago, but the SG10 has got to be one of the best Micro-ATX cases in terms of its size compared to what you can fit into it.

  • It's been this price for a few months.

    • Yup, it has. But I guess it's still a bargain haha. I was looking at it but the shipping killed the deal.

CPL VIC same price but low stock and cheaper shipping $23.20 to Sydney

I think it's pretty safe to call this a non-deal.
