What these cards quality like?
Im assuming they are casino quality, after all its a replica from the cards in the movie and made by Cartmundi

Very similar I would say.
rrp $29, it is supposed to be a good quality one, otherwise, you can got a OK one in $2 shops.

I voted +ve, but only because the cards are new. You can buy used casino cards that are the same quality but have a hole drilled through them or the corner cut off for about the same price, maybe a $1 cheaper - but that would not include p+h.
So unless you were at the actual casino, this is a better way to go.
As per quality, they are not as good as Copag's and won't last as long, but if you are having a game once a month they shoudl see you through to the end of the year. If you play more regularly, they won't but then you should get some proper cards anyway.

so you can't buy them, walk straight back to the tables (eg/ poker) & use them to give yourself pocket aces or something… =)
Does Crown Casino in Melbourne sell used decks?
They certainly used to, but I think since switching to plastic decks, they don't anymore because the drill would melt the cards together. They do sell decks though, probably more expensive that this - maybe $6-$8 - with different colour backs than what they use on the tables.

I assure you everything is going out on Monday. There's also a paypal facility if you feel uncomfortable using credit card. It's just been a crazy day and we never expected we'd have this much activity, thanks in a huge way to Ozbargain. We'll be working all through the weekend to get the site back on and ensure this sort of downtime will never happen again.

zac, you also need rep status for the site as you are obviously associated. people would not be so weary of the site if you had admited that you and peshmo were reps. ozbargin is a great way to promote your site but you more than likely have scared a few poeple off by not being upfront at the start.

It's not dead mate, but if your ISP (like TPG for example) has caches enabled then you'll still see the old error message.
