You guys need to expand or out move your management off site!
Their wasnt enough room to walk down your 3 aisles. 2 of them were full of stock!!

  • Nice bargain, even if you get it shipped its a good price.

  • Also noticed a 20" LG for $169 which is pretty good.

  • This is good deal but I prefer other brands because LG picture quality decreasing after 2 years but I don't know for this model though.

  • Good deal if you can pick-up or live in the same city etc. Decent if you require shipping to other states.

  • I have one of these - fantastic picture quality.

Aesthetically, one of the best looking also.

$224 is a bargain, delivered its still good.

My local electronics retailer says LG and Samsung customer service is shocking. I guess that's why they are getting cheap.

    • there has nothing to do that we are selling cheap because on their service. we simply run special only for ozbargain member, that's all. did you know Samsung and LG has better quality compare with benq and acer? and we dont have any issue in the past regarding service for Samsung and LG products

    • That has absolutely nothing to do with their low price.

LG & Samsung are the best value-for-money, big screen brands in the world. There's only 5 actual LCD screen manufacturers in the world, and two of those are LG & Samsung, the other big name brands like BenQ, Acer, HP all buy their screens from other manufacturers and then sell them higher to cover their profit margins. LG & Samsung don't because they produce their own screens.

I don't know about Customer Service (because I've never had to go through them) but I've owned 4 monitors from both brands (a Sync Master 920n, UA46B1700, L226WU-PF, PN50B860) and let me tell you for the money you pay there's absolutely NO equivalent from any other brands in terms of quality.

Your local electronics retailer is lying to your face.

As already mentioned, LG + Samsung together dominate the LCD market. They are quality units, and their service is top notch too. LG have 7/7/7 service - 7am to 7pm 7 days a week. No other manufacturer does the same. Their 3 year pixel perfect warranty is also untouchable.

Samsung have fantastic LCD warranty support. We had a dodgy 19" LCD Samsung that was 2 years old, had no receipt or anything. Called them up, they said the would drop a brand new replacement off straight away via courier, and they would send another courier a few days later to pick up the old one. He said having no receipt was no problem. How's that for service?

I know you're just sharing someone else's opinion but believe me they are wrong. I've been working at a large electronics store for the past 3 yrs and I prefer the quality and service of LG and Samsung goods far more so than the likes of Acer (or Panasonic/Sony for that matter).

  • Wow! The PR machine swings into action.

I wasn't talking just about monitors. I was talking about their general range of products.

Lying? Ooh touched a nerve there. My retailer is a great bloke. Always matches any price. Sells loads of Samsung products so has no vested interests. He told me loads of shocking stories. Why would he lie?

And why would you accuse him of lying without having a clue about what he said. He's been in the trade for decades and just goes on his (considerable) experience.

You on the other hand are trying to protect your brand and have every reason to take a side………..
