I'm sure we'll be seeing a greater drop in the next few weeks. A $500 USD ($535 AUD) drop translates to more than a $400 AUD drop.

I heard in the USA the price is $1000 down from $1500. Why Australian price is so much more?

I'm merely stating facts, you'd be surprised how much an employee costs a business even at minimum wage.
I'm not denying that there are some greedy companies (offloading profits to foreign countries) out there but there is also competition, businesses creates jobs, as the company grows (by earning more) it creates more jobs, hence contributing to our economy. Far too many people complain about prices without seeing the whole picture, it's also expensive employees here which is the cause of our prices not necessary the "Aussie tax" everyone talks about.
