This is the first version of the watch. I have ordered from Becextech before, and goods arrived in timeframe specified and the real product.

They also have the Gear Fit for $124 & Gear 2 Neo (Grey) for $184

Works in conjunction with your Galaxy smartphone, a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixels of resolution and 278ppi pixel density. 800MHz processor and offers 4GB Internal storage along with 512MB RAM. 1.9MP BSI Sensor AF camera. The Samsung Galaxy Gear connects to the phone via its Bluetooth 4.0 and comes with Accelerometer and Gyroscope sensors. With this sensor technology, the watch works like a Pedometer and automatically monitors users actions so they can track key personal data such as calories burned, steps taken and distance covered. You can configure your Galaxy Gear via an Android app on your smart device.     this is because it is old. as new watches come, the price that the older models are going to fall.

      Official price drop or retailer price drop? If it's an official price drop, the $499 price shouldn't be the one quoted and crossed. If it's a retailer only price drop, then Samsung just screwed these guys hard.

      Also the fact that all the new Android Wear watches also have a heart rate monitor and this one doesn't from what I've read.

  I think $499 was the original RRP. They have just announced the 3rd version of the watch with the Note 4. Bit like saying the iPhone 3 was $1,000, now worth about $30!

    The original price was $329 RRP.. never was $499. I know because I bought the original batch from HN. Luckily have Salary Sacrifice to put it to reasonable amount.

  If their gear 2 (not neo) was as a good a deal as the gear and the neo, id be there in a heartbeat.
  $290 ish is a pretty standard price for it though.
  Not many places have the original gear left anymore.
  Good price for the neo and fit though

    1.9MP camera.

    The Nokia 3315 didn't even have a camera and it probably takes better pictures…

      1.9mp is like 1080p sized or your standard photo album stuff, hardly says anything about quality.

  Lime Green only?? You'd have to pay me $84 to wear it. Plus no one seriously paid $499 after more than a month of it being released.

  Feebay has these watches for under two fiddy now.
