Not for bank issued Amex it seems?

    • Guess I gotta wait for their emails for the percentage off discounts then.

cool for the 10% off .. doesnt book depository already give you free world wide del?
(or should i say … delivery already included in the price)

  • These offers seem to be really targeted now… I have an AMEX issued card and no such offer for me! :(

    • If it is targeted, should it be listed here as a deal?

  • Is this for all or is it targeted?

What does "qualifying eligible Card Member" mean?

    • qualifying card member can simply mean you hold a qualifying AMEX card which isn't listed in the exclusions.

  • I received an email with the offer, so I think it is a targeted offer.

  • The email states "Simply shop online at bookdepository.com using your American Express Card and you will receive a 10% statement credit, so checkout to save today" …. with the exceptions of the cards listed in the fine print.

There isnt any 'unique' link identifying a specific card or user id to suggest its targeted.

    • If it's just sent as an email it can be targeted only to those who received the email. I just don't know if this is targeted. That is why I asked. Maybe there is no way to tell expect ask AmEx?

      • In my email, at the top, it states "account ending in XXXXX". Btw, does amex charge a forex fee for purchases from the book depository? Previously I have always used my 28 degrees since it was an overseas site. 7% off is better than full price though.

  • This was stated in the T&CS in the email.

"American Express Card Members, who receive an invite for this offer, are eligible to receive a 10% statement credit when they spend between 8 September and 8 October 2014 (dates inclusive) at the bookdepository¬.com¬."

The invite being the email you receive.

  • Uhm….they always offered free shipping…..

  • is bookdepository exempt from international credit card fees with amex?

  • Hi, can someone clarify, is it 10% off your ENTIRE STATEMENT for the month, or is it just 10% off your Book Depository order?
