is this good brand? ah sorry from the price this wont be comparable with kitchen aid…

  • +1

obviously won't be comparable with kitchen aid - but for $50 - might be worth a go!.

  • +1

What's the warranty like? Your warranty link on the website does not work.. concerning! (i know the ozbargain post says 12 months)
    also what's the return policy?

hard to find any reviews on this!

    • Hi,

As with all products sold on our website, we have a standard 12 month warranty for home/office use.
If for some reason you have an issue with your product, simply send us an email and we will begin sorting it out for you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Seeing as you have ordered one (thanks for your purchase!) why not leave a short review to let others know what you think when it arrives?

      Thanks
      Sam

      And your point is?

      • +1

Just to let others know what it says on their ebay page about refund thats all.

  • I hope I didn't waste my $50.

  • Here are some short reviews taken from our eBay store feedback.

    "Awesome product well recommended"
    "Thanks nice item good quality"
    "groovy mixer"
    "Great product, thankyou. Fast postage."
"very good solid product for the price"

Most of these eBay buyers have paid more than double whats on offer this week, so even at double this price there are no unhappy customers. We are making room for new and exciting products hence the crazy low price.

There are many more reviews about the product that can be seen in our feedback on our eBay store.

Obviously this is no Kitchen Aid, but it's also not $350+. Please have realistic expectations.

    • +1

Why didn't you include this negative feedback in your list?

"peice of crap can only run for 5mins ?a mixer? now wont give return postage"

      • After looking at the kitchen aid booklet, their mixer has a max run time of 8 minutes. This Logik mixer has a run time of 5 minutes.

and there is a $300+ price difference. for an extra 3 minutes of run time…

        Please have realistic expectations.
That customer didnt even use the product to test it (returned brand new in wrapping), she returned just because of a run time limit that wasn't the same as a $350+ mixer.

If she had realistic expectations like all the other buyers, she wouldn't have bought this mixer and expected a kitchen aid to turn up in the post.

THIS SECTION IS COPIED FROM KITCHEN AID WEBSITE:
HOW LONG CAN I RUN THE STAND MIXER?
The length of time to operate the Stand Mixer depends on the size of the load and the speed being used. For heavy loads, use a slow speed, no longer than 5 minutes.

When kneading bread dough or pasta dough, run the Stand Mixer 3-5 minutes. The bread dough will be processed well before that time. Please do not exceed speed 2. We recommend that you review the Use and Care Guide for a list of speeds and reading other recipes that may be similar for recommended speeds and mixing times.

      • So using the above excerpt and comparing with the logic of the buyer who left negative feedback; with similar run time as a $50 mixer, Does that make the $350+ Kitchen Aid mixer a "piece of crap" too?…

      • I would assume that dough should be mixed after 5 minutes.

What happens if I run it for longer or on a higher setting than this though? Does it simply turn off, or does it overheat, die and then burn your house down?

        • +1

It has an overheat fuse built in, So if it does heat up too much it will just turn off.
These run times are in all electronic products booklets just as a precaution, just to encourage users not to use the appliance like its a commercial unit.
To be perfectly honest, my wife uses one of these and runs it for more than 10-15 mins at a time. Never had a problem.

        • @closethedeal: thanks rep, and thanks for the generous discount..too.

  • +2

I think with Ebay feedback you have to leave a bit of room for the unrealistic buyer. Overall the feedback is good and I have purchased, just to make some biscuits every now and then and thats it. It is a genuine discount from the normal price so I will have a go and see.

  • Just ordered one, i live not far from your warehouse, if you like, i can come and pick it up. Save you $ on freight.

  • I ordered one yesterday.

Great price. Look forward to receiving it.

    Thanks.

  • How long do these normally take so ship/arrive?

  • +1

We ship daily. Orders placed yesterday have been shipped today. Todays orders will be shipped tomorrow etc.
Depending on where you are, delivery with aus post usually takes 3-5 business days.

  • +1

It indicates the deal is valid until 17/09/2014 however it is now $189 on the website. The discount code then takes off #39 making it $150, not $50.

    • All fixed.
Deal is on for a few more days.

  • "Net Weight: 8Kg"
I'm calling BS on that, more like 3kg.

Otherwise seems alright, but I haven't actually made dough in it yet.

  • Woohoo mine arrived today apparently. Will give it a shot over the weekend. How's everyone else finding theirs?

Shame the sale has ended - if it was any good, i'd probably have got a second one!

    • Still appears to work for me.
