  • I just bought a MacBook Air 13" 129gb HD last Sunday at DSE with their 10% off deal. Does DSE have one of those price match guarantees that will give me the 2% difference back?

    It's a long shot but I thought I ask.

  • 15% off on eBay is better.

    • up to max $100 though so not going to be better for most

      • Valid point. Cheapest reliable source is dwi eBay $1059 - 15% is $159 saving but maximum $100 is only 10% off. Don't forget to claim your 2% cash back as well through www.cashrewards.com.au

        • Not really, price on ebay are about 10% cheaper than DJ to start with. Couple that with the $100 discount then most will be better than DJ. On top of that you get another 2% cash back with cash reward.

It's more like, it not going to be better for ALL but will be better for Most.

The one thing DJ sure to have is GST invoice. Which you can claim TRS if you are going oversea but then many ebayer offer a Tax invoice as well.

Just look at the price for macbook air now on ebay and compare to the discounted on at DJ you will see the price are mostly the same even after the discount.

And DJ doesnt even have any high end Macbook Pro for sale so the cap price doesnt even make any diffence. Infact they only got one crappy Macbook pro for sale. Best to wait for the ebay 15% for a better deal.

        • @Moots That is exactly what I would like to go for. My only concern is the import tax I might be facing as the value of that macbook is more than $1000 even though I will pay less. Has anyone ever experienced this issue, maybe at the previous eBay sale with kogan, or will I be fine?

  • No 13" MBP Retina?

Offer ends 11:59pm. Although it's a grey area, I think the convention is that 12pm is midday (if you use any online calendar, eg. Google Calendar, they follow the same convention).
