agreed. Bangkok has a surfeit of 4 star hotels that can be had in the $60 - $70 range. With chains like Hilton you are paying a premium for the brand. Good deal for some though I guess.
Above my pay grade too. A good deal though if you were planning on staying at the Hilton anyway. Another chain whose displayed price does not include the taxes and service charges (plus 10% plus 7.7%). You need to proceed through the booking process to find out the final cost.
tl;dr
I do have :) but Hilton is usually above my spend. The price is 50% off normal rates which lowers it to agoda prices (or agoda have the same deal). Apples to apples you may have to add ++ (17%) to the hilton website (i didn't click through to book).
