    So is the TVBJ satellite service going to be phased out & transitioned to the TVB Anywhere IPTV box? Does it still require monthly subscription fee? Any ETA on release date (no info released yet on their website)?

    Also any outages on the TVB channels lately on the WELTV?

      We do not have much info as well as they have not made decision yet on the price or subscription plan details, the schedule already delayed as expected. One of the boss said it is gonna like TVPAD with live channels with VODs, not sure if he is joking or not.
      Gonna have technicians for home installation as well.

      TVPAD is on the market for more than three years with Linux based OS, good for HK live TV channels with 3Days replay and TV Dramas.

      WELTV is made by TCL and service provided by a HK company like TVPAD, WELTV is based on android OS, the picture quality is better than TVPAD3 in most of the channels, also have a lot more channels than TVPAD3 besides those HK channels, especially those international English channels in HD, like FOX series(Sports, movies without advertisement) HBO CNN discovery National geography. WELTV is getting more and more popular now.

      The problem for TVPAD is when holiday comes, the server probably not available due to "attack".
      The problem for WELTV is need better internet for TVPAD for HD channels, around 4Mbps will be perfect and months ago, they VOD like movies and TV Dramas are not smooth but now is okay as shown in the video with TPG service.

      WELTV also can record live TV channels if you want, can also act like a HDMI record if you have other HDMI output.
      You can connect USB deviced like keyboard mouse for weltv but u can't do it on TVPAD.
      TVPAD will swtich to Android OS next time i guess.

      If you are aftering Korean or Japanese channels, the best choice is TVPAD, if going for English, Taiwan and Chinese channels, WELTV is better option imo

      I have TVPAD3 and WELTV at home and now TVPAD3 is just sitting there for dust, only rare occasion my wife went back to TVPAD3 to watch mango TV replay. However the reply is coming for WELTV as well

      We check our price everyday to ensure the best price in the market, if you find lower price please let us know, we will beat the price for sure. However we do not cross match different platforms like computer shop website to eBay, as eBay has extra charge on the final value fee.
      For example on Skycomp the WELTV Premium is $249 delivered with 2% surcharge on Paypal or Credit card payment and our price is $245 with no surcharge on any type of payment.
      On eBay Skycomp eBay store is $259 and our price is $254.98
      it is very common in computer retails as extremely low margin.

    Does it have Singapore and Malaysia channels ?

      There is no Singapore and Malaysia channels, only Asia-Pacific Fox and HBO channels.
      XMBC is very easy to install on the WELTV, just download from your PC and copy to your USB drive to install.
      However I have spoke to WELTV Technicians about the XBMC, the ClubTVPAD is the only seller able to customize XBMC for WELTV with a lot preloaded contents and channels. But Even WELTV tecnician do not know how to customize it.
      I highly doubt that any other seller selling WELTV with XBMC is just install the official realease of the XBMC rather than the customized one with a lot more stuff like clubtvpad, so basically it is meaningless .
      Also for the VOD issue, the problem has been fixed about a month ago through a server / protocol upgrade. You will find a application called Video starter every time you try to watch VOD
