Nokia Lumia 920 32GB Black Unlocked + 2YR Warranty $228.65 + Free Local Shipping @ EXPonline

CELEBRATE15

Good price for a brand new last gen top of the line Windows 8 phone. It has practically the same specs (par the weight difference) to that of the higher priced Lumia 925!

Apparently it comes with 24 months warranty however I'm not sure if this is manufacturers warranty or if it's the sellers own warranty. Having said that, the item is based in Sydney.

"All online purchases on mobile phones are comes with standard 24 months store warranty (conditions applied for these extended warranty programed). Whilst 12 months warranty are covered for all accessories (Phone Accessories, including battery, usb cable, wall charger & earphones are comes with standard 6 months warranty.)"

I think it is seller's own warranty.
That being said I don't think Nokia warranty is that good either. I had really bad issues with Nokia warranty with my Lumia 925, I've sent it via Dick Smith because that is where I bought it. The service center lost my phone and couldn't track it for a whole week. Of course, it's just my experience, so I may have been unlucky, but they couldn't track it even with tracking number and everything.

  • Such a solid price, even if seller warranty. Will probably bite when/if 1020 goes sub-300, although 930 or if 1020 gets refreshed is also pretty tempting. As much as WP as matured over the years (by a significant amount I would say), I guess it just hasn't caught up completely yet (as much as I would like to say it has). I don't mind about not getting newest app releases as most of them are fads anyway, but pushing useful updates (e.g. Chat Heads from fb) will be things that I will surely miss. Maybe I'll wait to see if Cortana actually brings anything new to the table

i got a nokia 930 for work (upgrade from 820) and i use it as much as my htc one :) so there pretty close … its one of the better phones i've used and the 920 with win8.1 shouldnt be too different and for this price it's fantastic.

    • The 1020 calmer is worth $300 alone I reckon. I really like the way windows OS is heading, I hope they realise the One m8 on windows to Australia… Amazing phone with a clean OS sounds very appealing!

Or if you're willing to take a punt on a grey import, this can be had for $181.05.

Had it on watch list leading up to the sale, seller actually reduced the price from $230.

      Thanks jesho, scored one!

Looks like a great way for me to try out Windows Phone! :)

Glad to help, did you end up going with the red? Choosing the colour actually felt like the hardest decision of my life! #FirstWorldProblems

        • +1

No, I went the black because of the matte finish on the back, just in case ol' fumble-fingers drops it! I was toying with the idea of either the blue or red for a little while though, both look pretty cool. :)

        • @StewBalls:

hey guys did you get new phones? been reading a lot of negative comments - refurbs, not working, etc. the positive reviews are shady as they come from same users…

        • @jobacs: Mine finally rocked up today, no complaints at all, was all legit in factory sealed box, brand new, working great!

Wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again, but I would pony up for expedited shipping; whilst not excessively slow, it was the last day of the projected delivery timeframe, so I was starting to worry! :)

        • @StewBalls:

Hey mate, thanks for the update.

How's the phone been thus far? Satisfied with the 920 experience? Still waiting on my mine to show up, still says in transit in the tracking service hmmm How's the matte black?

    released late 2012

bit old… is the 930 so much better?

    • +1

      Yep the 930 is better.

However it's at least $500 for grey stock or ~$630 for local.

  • Ordered on Monday night. Received today!

Ordered the screen protectors on Tues morning and got them today too. Just waiting on the cool phone case to come now.

Pity my sim card isn't a micro sim :-(

    • There are some negative feedback about the seller on the selling of refurbished phone. Are you sure you bought a brand new Lumia 920?

      • +1

If it's refurbished, they did a really good job of making it look brand new. I found no scratches, phone works for what I have tested it on thus far, plastic protective sheets stuck on properly, all items in box, and box in good condition.

        • As expected, I also received a refurbished. I received the parcel this morning, but I am 100% sure what I got is a refurbished one. This can simply be seen from the phone package with bad printing. The genuine package, in the front face of the package "NOKIA Lumia 920" is printed in embossing with illuminations, but your package is simple flat printing. I don't want to open the package to disclose more details of this refurbished one. I want my money back.I have escalated that to paypal claim to get my money back.

        • @triumph: Oh dear. Please keep us posted on your developments, I have yet to receive my phone yet. How frustrating. Anyone else experienced this?

        • @jesho: Hi Jesho, the seller has agreed to refund me and pay the return postage. I have found another phone to buy, Nokia lumia 925 from Yatango, which is $305, this is around $70 more than that refurbished 920 but I suppose to be brand new, simply because lumia 925 came to market last year and there are not too many old phones to be refurbished. Moreover, Yatango is a mobile company and selling pre-paid and post-paid plans to customers, I don't think they would sell refurbished ones to bring them bad reputations.

  • Hey guys,

Yet to receive mu Lumia but got an email but have been contacted by seller in regards to this. Should be arriving quite soon, has anyone receive theirs yet? Any problems like that experienced by triumph?

Feeling very guilty that I may have recommended a refurbished product/ possibly dodgy seller!
