Correct you do not drop RRP with the way it is selling. Can not imagine how many it will sell when it actually gets a few must have exclusives
And in the ways of exclusives, it looks like Sony will win in quality and quantity, just because they own several dozen game studios that develop solely on sony platforms. It's almost like cheating.
Funny thing is in Japan, microsoft is paying for exclusives again among some Japanese developers.
But the 1TB Xbox one is out in 1 month, I wouldn't be suprised it Sony matches it early next year.

each xbox game locked to one xbox live account. if you want others to play your game you pay extra fee.

I know the policy changed and this is no longer the case with the xbox one. but if you read the whole point of this is to prove that Sony doesn't copy Microsoft (because the person i replyed to said that since xbox is getting some "TB" technology sony will copy.
so what i'm saying is when microsoft announced those features sony didn't copy them that is all. i didn't say they are the xbox features now!
and Dezweeja, the 720P is not up to the developer. if the xbox can do 1080P the developer will release both platforms at 1080P why would they do extra work to downscale stuff? so it's not up to the developer, it's the xbox's choice.
My friend's uncle bought a '2TB' disk and his computer desk broke because it was so heavy and spinning so fast that the desk couldn't support it properly. People need to know about these very real risks before they get sucked in by marketing.
I think it's more a sign (along with Dick Smith's pricing) that Sony is planning Killzone and Knack to be part of PS+

its an excelent deal. I brought a ps3 controller the other day it costs $80. the game is worth maybe $20. so you are getting a 500gb ps3 for under 200!

went for the gamesman eBay deal ($522) and got knack for $20 at DSE. Now that I have seen the k-mart deal I'm wishing I held off, cause I basically would of gotten killzone for free BUT I opted not to buy killzone due to how bad I have heard it is (and never having played a killzone before I'm not attached to the series).
Also does anyone know how you know if the 2% cash rewards worked? I have not seen anything after checking out?
Those games are pretty crap though aren't they? Compared to bundle with Destiny & TLOU? Would you get much of a trade in for them? I would rather $400 for the console and then put $50 towards a decent game.
Went to my local Kmart and picked up this Bundle for $426.55 this morning after using a Coles group discount card.
Sadly they were out of stock of "knack" so i was forced to substitute Call of duty Ghosts for no extra charge.SWEET !!!

Attempted a swap at my local store. No go unfortunately. Oh well. Wonder how much trade-in on Killzone is.
Went to my Local Kmart in Burwood, they don't have any 500GB PS3 consoles, only the 12Gb version. Was going to place an order and tired to swap a game from Little Big Planet Karting to Little Big Planet 2 (both are valued at $24 each). The manager told me they don't swap games, gave a very rude response and told me they are not getting any 500Gb consoles in for this sale. Be warned folks!

Bought the PS3 deal from Kmart Werribee plaza yesterday. Still in stock there.
Ok, I have checked every Kmart in Sydney now and none will order in the PS3 500Gb consoles. This is why they advertised the bundle so cheap - because they don't have any 'in stock' and won't order in any for this sale. I guess they don't want to make money (shut-up-and-take-my-money).
While the PS4 bundle is pretty much sold out at most K-Mart stores and unavailable online I was able to get Harvey Norman to match the deal online. They have the same bundle on their website for $549. Just used the online chat feature to request them to match K-Mart. They did without issue. You still have to pay Harvey Norman the $549 + $6.95 for delivery but they then refund you the $100 difference back to your credit card or paypal account.

just called and talked to them on online chat, they said they wont match the price unless kmart has stock. did they match for you when kmart had or didn't have stock?
@djdavy69 yes they did match it for me when I did the online chat to them and I sent them the link to the K-Mart online catalogue page. The guy I had was named Sam and he had to request the discount approval from his manager. I didnt mention to him that K-Mart are out of stock of PS4's at most stores.
You could ask again and maybe if you get a different chat operator they may be able to get you the discount.
