eBay $10 off $20 Min Spend When Registering for Bubs Corner

380

I just discovered that if you register for their "Bubs Hub", you not only get the $15 off $20 spend voucher to spend on baby formula (already posted and generally derided here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/139773), but also $10 off $20 on any baby products (inc. postage and handling). Originally thought it applied to all categories due to vague T&Cs, and because it allowed me to buy a sun shade, but turns out it was only coincidence and only works on baby items after all as the item was actually listed under the Baby category (see comments).

Way to check without buying (thanks leyton01):

"add to cart" instead of "buy now"
then "proceed to checkout"
you can enter the code on that screen BEFORE committing to buy.

Mod: Most users have not been able to apply the $10 off $20 coupon code to other categories.

DON'T FORGET: 2% Cash Rewards! (Although I can't guarantee that you'll get it)

Here are the full T&Cs for the voucher:

I thought ebay was quite popular..?

    • Was referring to the site being down last night probably due to 15% off sale.

      • I would have thought OzBargainers would have done their business with eBay before last minute. No dramas earlier in the day.

LOL I woke up to 900+ new comments in the 15% off thread since last night, so I think a fair few people were a bit miffed.

  • i wish you posted this yesterday :(

EDIT: actually i assume the coupons are not stackable
eg. can't use CELEBRATE15 , plus this one … plus the one for baby formula if thats what you're buying …
    correct me if im wrong

    • "This coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon, site discount, rebate, offer, gift coupon or other promotion offered by eBay or PayPal."

      • sorry missed it .. my bad.

        • I've highlighted that T&C in the OP to make it clearer.

  • Won't work on men's shoes without using the 15% off code.
Will get some nappies instead I guess.

    • Did you try the $10 code on the shoes?

  • $10 off a $20 order is decent! thanks

It doesn't appear to work for me. I bought Minecraft on PS4 for $24, tried to checkout with the $10 voucher.

"The redemption code can't be used for your purchase
You may have typed in your code incorrectly. Please verify your code and try again."

    • +1, bought a Blu-Ray drive for $29 and got the same message

    • Case sensitive? Use the link from the e-mail to go to the site and start at Bubs.ebay.com.au?

      Sorry… it worked for me.

      • I tried first by following the link, then again copying the code in correct case. Didn't work.

It's all good though, I'll add it to my 15% off haul.

      • Yeah I used the correct case as well. I just typed the code in rather than clicking the link though, but don't really want to buy the same thing again :P

        • Funny this deal was discovered, but i think for the most part it won't work.

  • -1

how do i access the code?

    • Go to the deal and click "Join bubs corner" (top right). You then get an email with the codes.

Just note that people are having trouble making it work, so I would advise only buy something if you are willing to pay full price.

      • thanks did that but still no email.

        • Are you doing it on mobile or computer? I'm doing it on mobile and doesn't seen to work.

Edit: code came, just give it a bit.

  • codes not working for me

  • perhaps its a glitch .. and only works on certain categories. OP said he purchased from automotive category .. has it worked for anyone else and what category did you purchase in?

  • Thanks OP

  • not worked for me.. tried to buy a computer part.

Didn't work for me for tools

    • Legend!

      ADD THIS TO OP

  • OP, are you sure you didn't buy your car window shade from the Baby category?

Only place where I can get this code to work.

  • I deride your truth handling abilities

and are we going to see 'baby spoon with BONUS ps4 game' or something? :P

  • Revoking my +1 as I'm unable to get this one to work in any non-baby areas.

  • GOOD ONE…the deals are not stackable but you can get nappies for cheap…and other baby items for $10 off

OK, went back and checked the product I bought:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SHEVRON-WINDOW-SOX-CAR-SUN-SHADES…

Turns out it's listed under Baby! What a weird coincidence - I used search and the filters on the left said "Vehicle Parts & Accessories > Car, Truck Parts" but what I failed to notice was that the Baby category was squirrelled away under the "Other categories" link.

Sorry about that. OP edit to clarify and remove references that it works for any category.

  • ok so now we just gotta convince our favorite sellers to categorise all their items as baby :p

    • Hehe… where's Kogan when you need them :-)

  • great thanks, i too bought a car shade (in Baby category), $10 off
