What's the size of the case? Weight of fully built system etc? What sort of ram and hdd it use? Notebook type or full pc desktop size?

    • +2

Hi Jack, will have to get back to you on the exact size and weight of the system in a few minutes but it uses a WD blue SATA3 hard drive and Mushkin DDR3 1600mhz full size desktop memory.

    • Hi Jack,

Weight of the fully assembled system is approx 3.8kg according to our scales.

    $36.70 to WA

  • Clicking 'Add to cart' gives a 'There isn't enough product in stock.' message. Have you sold out already?

    • Sorry! Easy fix of a small oversight. :)

  • How many USB does this have? Is there just 2 (USB 2?) in the side?

    • 2x USB2 on the side panel of the case, and the 4x USB at the back of the motherboard, as specified by Asus: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/A58MK/

sad, if it is usb 3.0 will buy it

Enter 'A78M-E' at checkout in the leave a message text box and we will upgrade your motherboard free of charge. This will give you USB3 ports at the rear however the USB ports on the case will still be 2.0

        • @evatech:
Not that I need one but great service Evatech.

        • Thanks PVA,

          We do our best.

        • @evatech: You probably should have sent that in a PM if you didn't intend to give everyone a free MOBO upgrade.

        • We had every intention of offering the free upgrade to anyone who read that comment, and 4 customers have already taken us up on the offer.

  • What's the regular price?

      Hi Tihocan,

We haven't sold this exact configuration before but it's about a $65 discount on what our standing pricing would have been if we had done.

Anyone know if you could create a Hackintosh from this model?

    • +1

Hey mate, check out http://www.tonymacx86.com/443-building-customac-buyer-s-guid… I've done a few hackintoshes over the years, and the buyers guide is a great place to start. This system would work well if not for the board and cpu. Go for a Gigabyte mini-itx (GA-H87N-WIFI) and intel chip (Intel Core i3-4350 - use Intel® HD Graphics 4600) and should be all good :)

  • Would there be enough space to squeeze a low profile PCI-E TV tuner card into this? To me it looks too small to do so.

    • Hi Kanibl

Yes a low profile PCI-E expansion card would fit in this setup with no trouble at all. If you would like one simply add it to your cart along with this PC and let us know you would like it in installed in the 'Leave a message' text box at checkout.

  • Rep - did you ever get the dimensions of the case?

    • +1

      Hi Pw2002au,

Sorry for the delay, its approx 39(L) x 29(H) x 9(D) cm without the stands. With the stand it adds 3cm to the height.

      • Not an issue - Im assuming no HDMI out though? I see DVI and VGA on both boards.

        • +1

          Hi pw2002au,

Yes that is correct, there is no HDMI output on system. If you would like to swap to a motherboard with HDMI output please email [email protected] and someone will get back to you ASAP with your options.

  • Hi, Rep.

Do you have any mini-PCs that would be suitable for router hardware and are compatible with BSD?

    • +1

      Hi BoLLo,

Sorry to say no one here in the office has had enough experience with BSD and turning PCs in to routers to feel confident making any recommendations. If you can figure out what the best hardware is we are happy to give you a quote on a fully assembled at tested system.

      • +1 for honesty!
