Orion belts back on at Massdrop. You can choose Natural or Sunset Brown at Checkout. At the time of posting it hadn't reached the cheapest level, but if you want to wait for that, you can 'commit to buy' for when it hits the cheapest.     The pilot G-Tec pens you recommended here was crap. Very scratchy, faint too because the tip does not let out much ink. This was with the 0.4 tip. That 'Drop' took six weeks to get here from the date they took payment (end date)

    Much better writing quality and speed from an orange $1 BIC pen.
    $25 for a 12-pack of shitty pens.

    OK, so I read through to find out why this is so special. Harness leather is not so you can absail in it like Bond or Bourne but because it's the same leather used by equestrians for horses. Giddy up.

    It's veg tanned, I guess that means they use natural inks or something like from tobacco or to get light red, beetroot etc. Pretty cool.

    Not bad for RRPAUD$65, but to get it for under $50 would be good. Made in South Carolina too, cool.

    They charge at today's exchange rate and not in 2 months when they finally ship it right? Could say a few more percent when the AUDUSD might be around 85cents! ;-p

    Can't see what the 'Natural' colour looks like. Had to watch video and still don't know. Maybe it was the darker brown chocolate one at start of video.

    The woman in the vid looks like an Americanised version of Bindi Irwin. ;-p She probably caught, killed and skin the cow to get the leather too.

          Leather gets a patina? Thought that was metal and similar materials. Interesting. Lighter tans would absorb oils etc and darken obviously.

          This one claims to be water repellent, so it might take longer to darken. Probably only WR for a few years of daily cowboy/rancher use.

    As OP pointed out Massdrop in general can take a long time to ship. Don't buy a belt and expect to come in two months, be prepared to wait up to three months for your product to arrive.

    Some Massdrops are good value in the sense that shipping is a lot cheaper than ordering from the individual retailer who makes the product.

    I have ordered two Orion belts on Massdrop and I am still waiting - over 8 weeks so far. But I knew it would take a while…

    I've got an Orion belt before ….its a really nice thick belt you'd pay tons here for one like it. I got mine from massdrops bazarr sale so there was no wait.

    I sized one size up and it fits well but I kinda wish I sized 2 up so it was a little longer
