      • Can you pay through paypal or is it cred card only?

        • +2

No Paypal man. Amazon and Paypal are competitors since amazon just launched their Payments platform.

        • +2

Even if you could checkout with PayPal they give you a crap exchange rate too

    • does any one know how long it will take to be delivered.

Do I need the Micro Vault?

  • Can Windows get hacked onto the Yoga?

    • you can throw a yoga paint over the windows

    • +6

No, strictly an Android tablet. A fairly mid range one at that, the CPU is a Snapdragon 400.

    • +1

Windows can get hacked on any device ;)

    Citibank credit card

I think you mean a Citibank Plus Visa debit card. As far as I know, using a Citibank credit card will incur foreign currency fees, but using their debit card (which draws from your own savings) will not.

  • Anyone know how the Dell Venue 8 compares to Asus Vivotab Note 8? Any information would be greatly appreciated, trying to figure out which to buy! I prefer the Brand Name Asus in general however!

    • ASUS uses Z3740, Dell uses Z2580, ASUS should have better battery life and better performance. It's also quad core as well, while Dell is 2 core with HT.

      • Do you think they'll have another deal at Christmas for Vivotab Note 8? Cause that last one with the Wacom Stylus was pretty awesome. I kinda want to double up as a graphics tablet. So i'm guessing it's a better idea for Vivotab Note 8 aye?

Anyone currently own the Lenovo Yoga 10 Tablet? Tempted by the price and the surprisingly positive reviews on Amazon.

Careful with Lenovo ..Prices are rock bottom …so does the product…lot of heating issues as well as abnormal shutdown..my 2 cents..rest up to u

    • I absolutely love the Yoga 8, and had been waiting for a HD 10" for ages.
If you want it for media consumption, especially while traveling or table top, it's amazing.
I'm not a huge fan as a hand held, rather use a Nexus7, but some people really enjoy the book hinge design, and I can see why.
I ordered one on Thursday for $299 USD, at this price it's brilliant

        Was it from Amazon.

If you chat with them, they will refund you the difference

        • I was just about to do that, then noticed it was the cheaper price. Must have dropped while it was in my cart while I made the decision whether I got another tablet!
          Thanks for the tip though.

      • Oh wow, I did get it at the discounted price, brilliant!
PS, I've got two Yoga8's, and have always had an eye on the 10, but the resolution was average on the old version.
That was the only downside. Never had a problem with any Yoga tablet, though the S6000 will now become a paerweight!

  • good price, don't need them though. got plenty usb lying around already.

  • Pity there isn't a HDMI port on the Lenovo. I have an Acer A501 and the HDMI port has been useful when travelling as a media player to connect to big screen TVs.

Good but USD is getting more expensive by the minute…

    • +1

It actually fluctuates by the second

  • Is battery life of the Yoga 10 anywhere near the stated 18hrs?

    Thanks in advance

  • This looks to be a pretty sweet USB key
