  • A word of caution on "No connection fee" calling cards in general. Some of them have "Disconnection fees", while prominantly advertised as "No connection fee".

    Eg.

  • yes, the CBD card do have disconnection for some countries. But it is still one of the best phone cards calling India and other countries because its honest rates.

    • CBD may be the best card and if it is, I will use it if I have to. However, I won't call their rates honest, when they are gloriously advertising "No connection fee" and slapping users with "Disconnection fees". "Disconnection fee" is just another name for a "connection fee", which is charged at the end of the call instead of in the begining and have the same outcome. In essence, CBD (and other similar cards) dupe customers saying "No connection fees" while charging it at the end of the call.

      • Hi Surm,

I agree with you in the point. And anyone who use CBD should be aware of "disconnection fee" as it will have same effect as connection fee. I wrote an article in InstantPins.com.au Blog several days ago. Hopefully, it will help user to know what kind of costs may exists.

And in my point of view, with more transparent rates& fees, it will help phone card industry.

And any of your comments on our blog are welcome too.

        Thanks

are you connected businesswise to this company. If so apply as a representative otherwise you and your company will be banned from ever posting with Ozbargain.

You imply this with your modified post about bug in system, then you pretend to be a user.

          • @[Deactivated]: I am from the company. How can I apply as a representative?

          • @[Deactivated]: I do find where to apply as representative. I am applying at the moment.

          • @[Deactivated]: There is no drop down for "Store Representative Application"

          • @[Deactivated]: Finally, I find it and get it submitted. Thanks for information.
