Hmm specs are good. But for $903? I don't know

    • Isn't all ultrabook in the region of $1000?

      • -1

        doesnt make them worth that.

      • no, many options well above $1000.
13mm is a nice thickness, I'd be very wary of the LG brand.

  • What does null battery life mean?

Specs are on par with the Sony Vaio Pro "13. It's a tad lighter (980g vs 1060g). The price is good as well. The down side is the screen is not touch screen, and the keyboard is not backlit.

4 gig of RAM in a $1K machine seems too low, upgradable?

Almost worth getting it just to show off the thin bezel.

  • For those wondering this is useless for gaming. Cannot even run league of legends.

  • So I'm just going to go ahead and warn anyone from ever buying anything from the Good Guys again. My friend was interested in this laptop albeit he missed out the 100 dollar off ozbargain price, but still a good deal for $1049 brand new.

Firstly we tried to purchase the item from a local Good Guys store to see if they'd honour the same price as their eBay store: no deal. Then, the Good Guys staff member attempted to sell my friend used 'display' floor stock for the same price as their eBay price. Given the local Good Guys store dislikes money and refused to budge from their retail price for a used 'display' floor model, my friend decided to purchase it from their eBay store instead.

He just received a call from the very same store that refused to discount used floor stock, claiming that they have no stock of the item left (Good Guys eBay claim they will dispatch the item to your closest store for pickup rather than shipping — not sure if this is against eBay's policy).

If I had the ability I would mark this as a downright scam and I will be reporting the eBay listing immediately.

    • Just as an update — I posted the above message 1 hour 53 min ago and as of that time there was 9 still available in stock, and I've just refreshed the eBay listing, just now, and it's now "out of stock" and 0 available. Looks like they got the message.
