Seem to be a good deal @ this price, and pretty much is the cheapest price I can find with Free Shipping and 12 Months Local Warranty.

Not sure if anyone can help me find any cheaper prices around? :)

BTW: Samsung Gear 2 can work out as $300.93 after discount.

Better off with the Gear Live I think. The Gear 2 will get little in terms of updates where as the Live runs on Google Wear OS which is reportedly getting a 2.0 update.

    • I'm actually thinking between Gear Live and Gear 2, haven't decided yet. I'm temped to go Samsung Gear is because I got a Note 3 and thought would be have better experience.

I have the Gear and Note 3. I love them both but would trade off on the Gear Live in a heartbeat.

        • I have the Gear Live, much better to to with Android Wear IMO & works with a lot more phones

  • Kogan's selling it for $179 + $22.99 postage (seems to be set price), comes with 1 year Australian warranty. I bought one a few days ago, and it's on the way from Hong Kong.

    Mocha Grey
Black - CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK
    Orange

Probably best to stick with Dick Smith, you won't have to wait as long!

    • Yeah true, I was also checked prices on Kogan, but need to wait a bit longer to get it on hand.

  • Bought the gear live for $163 last week, went with it since it works on my phone. I'm surprised these things are actually useful, I was a bit sceptical that I'd really use it at first.

  • They have this watch for $199 new at the Samsung Experience store in Highpoint Shopping centre, Melbourne when i was looking at one a few weeks ago! I thought it must have been the original gear watch at that price but it was definitely the 2 neo as i called them up to check. Give them a call to check stock as they were out of stock when I checked but were ordering more in.

    • Thanks, just checked their website, and updated as above. :)

  • Clearly not for me. I dont understand having to charge my watch regularly. Especially when the same price nets a really funky talking piece such as a Tokyoflash watch. Nobody is going to want to talk about the gear, it's just so unexciting.

And yet here we are, talking about the Gear.
