Not in any headline but I noticed that with the Stocktake clearance they are pushing this week this TV is down at a reasonable price. It was cheaper at the Dick Smith eBay sale last week by about 100$ but $1598 isn't awful.

Turns out it was in their weekly catalogue (basically 400$ off their regular price) we argued that Dick Smith Ebay online had it for $1508 delivered last week and they have botched up a speakers transfer I am still waiting for so the sales guy price matched (in another guys name I had spoken to another day… sneaky bugger bet that guy aint happy) - bought it with 5% off giftcards (Ambasador card) we had purchased on our coles mastercard (1% worth of flybuys) so in the end a much better price. ($1420ish all considered)

Paid $4k with 5year warranty our C series UA55C7000 just over 4 years ago, still going strong!
Next upgrade is when 65" UHD / 4K HDMI 2.0 oled becomes sensible….couple of years I recon as LG just released their curved one for well under $10k- hdmi 1.4 only though
Me thinks better to wait till EOY sales as uhd will be around this price.
According my research uhd has lag when watching sports. I can be totally wrong.
