Junk mail tells me what's on sale usually. Why would one want to give that up?

yeah…everyday I check my mailbox for those junks….
We call it "goodies" in our family~~
otherwise how would you know when Coles/Wollies will have what 1/2 priced next week!

        Check out this website…

      • By reading ozbargain for the 10 posts each week?

No need to use the sign as is. For example you could use it as a base to make nameplates for kids (stick it on a bedroom door or screw it onto their bike). Also the double sided tape on the back of the sign can be removed giving you blank white plastic to get creative on.

You could thread a piece of string through the hole and wear it as a necklace.

When I see these I say to my son these people are either rich or dumb to avoid such mail. These signs are anti-oz bargain in nature.

Hang on, so you're not the last noob?

I prefer solicited junk mail on OzBargain. That's my 2c.

    • Or they have the insight to realise the cost (effect of marketing on their spending habits) may outweigh the benefit (savings found) in their case. You're right to suggest OzBargain is similar in nature.

Maybe they read Ozbargain, where every junk mail catalogue currently in circulation gets posted on here as a "bargain".

Our household has an aging no junk mail sign. So will check out local Kmart for an upgrade.

The major catalogs haven't been delivered in years. But real estate, small businesses, tree tellers, etc keep leaving their junk.

If it's already in a catalog it's rarely a bargain in my opinion. I pick up the Coles & Woolies catalogs when I do my shopping, & major deals pop up on OzBargain, or download the catalog. So I rarely miss a bargain by not getting catalogs delivered.

where do i get a sign that says "JUNK MAIL PLEASE"

where i live (narre warren, vic) the catalogues stopped coming about a month ago. pretty peeved about it, but when i call up the local newspaper company they can't help because its a different company…

The junk mail is handled usually by PMP or Salmat. Contact them, they should put you in touch with local delivery agent who co-ordinates the area.

Guessing that whoever delivered them in your area gave up and no one to replace them. You could maybe help out and get paid to walk and get the goodies mail before everyone else.

We used to do it around our area. Good for some pocket money, but not great. Gets annoying after a while and to be honest you can earn more doing other stuff. A single shift at Woolies would earn you more than a brochure run.

    • just check ozbaragin- they're all posted here all the time.

  • So it's free if you just buy the 2c sign?

Got this 3 months ago from Kmart for 80c.

I am surprised that most of the people who hand out junk mail do not understand the meaning of the sign.
