I need a new mouse, what makes the M8000X better than say the G500 or deathadder?

I've got the Logitech G500 and I'm very happy with how it performs, but it had longevity issues.. I'm on my second G500 now because the first had a broken scrollwheel after 2 years of use (thankful it had 3 years logitech warranty) and now my second one is starting to have the same complications.
Is the Netgear Router any good??? Seems like it also has some extra function?!
Bought the Gigabyte Eco600 wireless mouse. Very poor range. Would not work at all at 1 metre. Gigabyte claim 10m range. Have had to use a usb extension cable so the receiver can lie on my desk 400mm away. Otherwise seems a nice mouse for the money.
