  • So this is insurance ?

If so, you should mention it in the title.

Also, put the PRICE in the title.

    • this is actually nice to know.
what sort of cover are we getting would be exquisite too :)

guessing this doesnt work for Melb? only NSW?

Unfortunate that Ride to Work day is the day after Sydney had massive storms with lots of rain expected in the morning :(

  • Thanks! I've been putting off getting this for ages, but at 50% it's a great price. As far as I know, this means if I cause an accident I'm covered for the others' damage etc.

  • This guy on his cycle was ahead of my car yesterday evening.
On a flat road, without paddling and with a motor on , his speed was 50 km/h (when I look down my speedometer).
I was thinking he better has insurance, as it is no difference to a motorbike except he has no light and number plate.

    • If you mean a petrol motor - his bike is not legal on NSW roads. He obviously doesn't care about complying with road rules. I don't see how he could get insurance for it, and definitely couldn't register it to get a number plate. If the cops see him they'll pull him over.

If it's an electric motor, it might be legal, getting to 50 on a flat road with a bit of assistance shouldn't be so hard.

      • You are right. There is a object like a petrol tank on a motor bike.

Don't worry I followed him home, took down his details and went straight to the Stasi as any righteous citzen would. We can't have it, any deviation from the norm… All citzens must pay the corporation so we don't have to pay, society only works when we pay our lords.

  • Sydney in the title please, it's a region specific offer.

  • Dear All,

The insurance part appears to cover you for anywhere in Australia & New Zealand and does not just cover your work commute but any other riding.
