That's the mic people get when they buy standard headphones for gaming without a mic. I have one and it does the job.
I have been using the same Zalman ZM-MIC1 for the last 6 or 7 years and it's still going strong. An excellent quality mic for the price.
You're better off just buying something that will last. How about this?

I've heard great things about them and all my friends who use them love them.
You can spend $10 on a mic that will last a year or $50 on a mic that will last 5 years and give you better quality.
The Zalman is durable, it will last longer than a year. The mod mic is good too, just depends how much you want to spend. Any difference in sound quality won't make any difference in Teamspeak. We're talking voice comes, not sound engineering.
