  • Do these come pre-activated? I.e. the clock starts ticking down as soon as I buy from you?

Or can I expect it to be exactly the same as the ones I purchase from a Telstra store?

Long expiry sims… some expire in march 2015 and some in 2016 - I think that says it all, so not pre-activated

$15 iPad 3GB Data Micro Sim sounds good, now that $10 deals have disappeared.

      • Thanks. Was a bit confused by some of the earlier comments in previous posts.

  • Forgive my ignorance, but are these 3G or 4G sims?

  • Are these still 3GB data or are they 2GB now? I thought the only ones that are 3GB were those in the white packet that say 3GB. These just say $30 credit which now only buys 2GB of data on Tel$tra. No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong.

    • Title says "iPad 3GB Data Micro Sim" are also $15, the white starter packs shown in the deal link. So yes 3GB is 3GB.

More info on Telstra Starter Packs in the Wiki ;-)

Hey OP, any way of specifically getting iPad sims with the 2016 expiry date?

  • I've never had pre paid so ignor me asking but once activated, does the data expire after 30 days, then have to buy more? Or has pre paid changed?

  • Just saw phonebot is also selling tekstra sim cards for a dollar with 10$ credit. Wouldnt that be a better deal if im just after using the credit to buy apps

    • Pretty sure there is no "dollar credit" on these sim's.
You can still make $10 worth of calls though.
These are same that idroid.net.au sell

      • Just bought and my PayPal receipt lists IDROID PTY LTD so it seems phonebot is just another site/name for idroid.

  • In the checkout process, need to provide company ID and tax ID? What are they? Company name and TFN or ABN?

    Also I noticed this:

    "Shipping Options

Phonebot offers $15 flat-rate standard postage (est. 3-4 days delivery) on all orders, or $20 express postage (est. 1-2 days delivery). You can also opt to pick up your order from the store for free! You will be provided an option to select from the three methods on checkout."

I just ordered one. When got to the Company ID and Tax ID I just left it blank and the order still went through fine.

      • That's only for tax invoice purposes, so leave blank.

  • Hi OP, I can't seem to find the 1/2 price iPad 3GB Data Micro Sim. On the site it says $30 as original price and sale price is $20.

Also, how to request for a long expiry date.

    Thanks
