This site has often been recommended by OzBargain members but I just got a chance to check it out. Here and here. They also will give you $10 off a booking of $300 or more until October 31 when you sign up.

lmtclub.com (this normally costs US$50 to join, but there are free membership codes floating around; has good rates for certain hotels, particularly in the US)

Best to play around with the site and see how it compares. Prices are in USD so comparisons are also in USD. My sample bookings (Nov 7/8):

Sydney Hilton

    I recommend using them for attraction tickets if visiting the US. Was the cheapest for Disney and other tickets when I used them in January.

    Awesome…. booked an airline ticket. It was 50$ cheaper than other sites including expedia. Hotels looks really cheap compared to other sites.

    Excellent, going to Europe next year so will add this to the list of comparisons. Although, going to use Air BnB for some parts of the trip.

    So far it seems a waste of time. While the prices may be good, the selection of hotels in the locations I checked is abysmally small. Might be good for travelling the US, not for Europe or here.

    I have used this site for most of my hotels when i travelled to USA. Stayed in a marriott for $150/night when it was over $300 on every other site. Recommend it :)

    Did a comparison between checking cheapest flights from the gold coast to sydney using this website and adioso.com here are the results:

    Obviously different flights, but adioso found a cheaper flight.

      Would happily pay an extra $15.50 to go from Tiger to Virgin… though is the other price in USD or AUD? (likely USD being a US based website… which makes the difference obviously higher)
