6 Months 4G Mobile Free ($20 Sim Cost) for Existing Internode Customers

60

"Special Offer: $15 credit each month

Sign up to a NodeMobile plan and get $15 off each month, for the first 6 months!

Simply signup to any residential NodeMobile plan before 2 December 2014.

New customers to Internode must sign up to a 24 month broadband contract to be eligible.

Not in conjunction with any other offer. A one-off upfront cost of $20 for the SIM card applies. Offer ends 2 December 2014."

This deal makes the $15 plan free for 6 months after the $20 sim cost. Similarly, the $30 plan will be $15/month for 6 months, the $40 plan for $25/month, and the $60 plan for $45/month. If you are on the fence about joining Internode, as a customer, I am very happy and personally recommend them. Good reliable speeds and great support and service.

Please note: the $15/free plan only includes 200MB/month.

  • A 2 minute national mobile call will cost $2.15 ouch even in funny money that's kinda high

  • I took up this offer. A customer representative rang me up to answer some questions and offered to waive the $20 sim fee if I signed up on the spot. I did that. SIM takes a while to arrive (about a week). I will be porting next week.

  • Does this mean existing internode broadband customer can have the $15 plan free for 6 months without locked in contract for the mobile plan?

Correct, there's no mobile contract required for the offer. Note however the $15 plan only includes 200MB data.

      • Thanks. That sounds good. I just started my 24 month broadband plan with Internode:-)

      • En. In case you might know this, is it easy to change plan?

        • I asked them that too and they said you can change plan anytime but it happens month by month. i.e. changes only happen at the start of the next billing cycle. So I'm going to start with the lowest plan and upgrade if I need to.

        • @moocher: Great! Thanks. I am going to do the same :-)

        • @Saturday: Might be worth ringing them to ask them some questions. See if they offer to waive the $20 sim fee if you sign up on the spot…

edit: In my case, I asked some questions via their contact form and they rang me back…you could try that if you're no in a hurry. They called me back the next day.

  • Identical to Iinet's offer

They are the same company, I think iiNet bought Internode.

  • Does anyone know if they charge data per MB or per KB? I can't seem to find that info anywhere on their website :(
Edit: NVM, they charge per KB. Found it at http://www.internode.on.net/residential/phone_and_voip/nodem…

$50/GB usage charge after the first 0.2GB taste.

  • For the >$30 plans, the calls to other Nodemobiles are free. What about calls to iinet mobiles, considering they are the same company?

    • Just rang them up, only Nodemobile-to-Nodemobile calls are free.

  • Porting Optus-Optus is certainly slow. I activated my SIM online on Sunday night and I'm still waiting. I'm porting from Vaya.
