Im in the market for a new tv, currently have a 42" Panasonic Plasma HD from back in 2006 doing a great job, but being 42" thinking of upgrading to a 65". Only dilemma i have is choosing the right one. Mainly for used for sport and movies…most LED/LCDs that i have seen in the shops continue to have the motion blur in fast paced sport. So still unsure what ill be deciding on.

  • Twice the price of 55" 4k TV's with HDMI 2.0 and passive 3D .. 10" is not worth twice the price

    • Repeat after me:
Sony does better colour representation than any other brands out there.
Sony has least input lag, a boon for gaming.

      • I think he was referring to the LG $1549 deal.

But well give and take, this TV is almost double the price. But then again LG…the image processing leaves a lot to be desired, I mean the Sony with ~40ms vs the LG with 84ms that's the difference between playable and unplayable in games for me.

        • Yeah.
From memory, this one has around ~20ms (the 55 one of them reviewed had 18). Also think this one supports PSNow.

I have been using LCD TVs for gaming for some 6+ years now, moving away from huge crts and then lcd monitors. Always picked Sony for gaming. Also own a LG for the bedroom (1080p), it's impossible to do any serious PC gaming on it.

    • "10" is not worth twice the price" … Should be 3 x the price for the full 10-inch package you'd have thunk-it

  • ^^^^ Exactly Sony and Samsung 4K TVs are miles ahead of everyone else

  • Watching a Bluray on a 4K 65" look any better than on a FHD 65"?

  • In the process of returning my Sony W850B 70", radial banding and poor 3D. I might look at this at the same price point but a bit put off with Sony this second.
