The Clearance Centre in Brisbane are having a sale on this laptop. I contacted them and they told me that the Win 7 install is only home premium and not pro, so no good to me, but others may get something out of it. It also sounds like they have only fairly limited stock.
Buggered if I know. Youd have to ask them yourself.

No deal. You can get current model refurbished direct from Dell ( dell outlet) and cheaper.
I see they have a 15 inch one for $239 at the moment.
Is it a 5410 or an inspiron you're looking at? The Latitude series is leagues above the Inspiron series. Much more durable and much easier to get inside and work on things.
Please give more detail tech-specs such as
14.1" WXGA+ Anti-Glare LED Display (1440x900) or 14.1" WXGA Anti-Glare LED Display (1280x800)
