ROCCAT Gaming Clearance @ Kong Computers with Free Shipping Aust-Wide

80

Hey everyone…I got a call from Roccat's Aussie distributor today. Apparently other Roccat resellers are complaining that these prices are too low and I have been asked to put my prices back up to the RRP. Please email me on [email protected] and I will still honour this deal. Apologies for the inconvenience

Big savings with Free Shipping (Aust-wide) on selected ROCCAT Gaming Gear.
I checked all of these prices against www.staticice.com.au and they are cheaper plus the added bonus of free shipping.

Cheers
Kris

  • Don't wanna upvote this as to keep it a secret till I decide what to buy :P

Great prices and I love roccat products.

  • Are able to source Artisan mousepads from your suppliers?

  • Which mouse do pro-gamers use from Roccat? In comparison to Razer DeathAdder for CSGO? Any reviews out there? I heard Kone+ but it looks chunky as and heavy for lift-off.

    • From the from Roccat line, the Roccat Kone Pure Military would be the top pick because of its mouse sensor the Avago 3310

Which DeathAdder are you referring to? There are several revisions of the DeathAdder which house different sensors.

Kone [+] uses a laser sensor.

      • I tried a mionix naos 8200 - didn't like it, too heavy.

Currently using DA 2013 model, don't mind it, but find the footprint and size a fraction small for me.

I miss the mse3.0 days, used a MS Habu for a while as that was the closest to that shape in revised form.

Just not sure on the Roccat line, thinking Steelseries sensei or Zowie…

        • The Sensei Raw (Rubberized) is freaking comfortable.

Not sure about the sensor, but my friend has no complaints from using it at LANs.

        • Are you referring to the IME 3.0 (Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0)? Still considered a good mouse despite the low perfect control speed and the 400/450 DPI not enough (for some high resolution users). At least the polling rate can be overclocked.

The Steelseries Sensei uses the Avago A9500 (laser sensor) which has minor native acceleration. Instead, consider the Steelseries Rival (Avago 3310).

If you're interested in a Zowie then look into the Zowie FK1 (Avago 3310).

        • Roccat Kone Pure (optical or military) is a top pick, flawless quality and sensors. I use it for csgo and I find it a much better mouse than the Deathadder. I don't recommend the Sensei since the sensor is kind of old and the acceleration on it will feel terrible compared to optical, also don't recommend Zowie since the switches are stiff and the scroll is has glitches and is generally bad. If these don't affect you i recommend you get it but not at full price. Also all of zowie's mice have poor max tracking rates except for the FK1.

    • Yes the Kone + is a large mouse. More for palm grip than claw grip.
In saying that my 11 year old son uses the Kone + and his smaller hand is fine with it. He prefers it but everyone is different.
It is slightly heavier than some mice and you do get 4 weights if you want it even heavier.

      • Thanks rep - I think i'm more of a claw grip so might skip the Roccat, I'll look into the Zowie range. Thanks, certainly made me look twice, quite like the Kone Pure Colour so might come back to it.

  • Tried to buy a mouse through PayPal, but got an error instead:

    Server Error in '/' Application.
Redirect URI cannot contain newline characters.

Rep, can you check this please? Thanks!

    • OK I'll take a look.
All my sales for this special have been via PayPal so far, except one. They have all worked so far.
      What browser are you using?
Maybe try using Chrome or Mozilla.
      Cheers
