nba, give us a discount code already

    • Doesn't seem like they will this year. My Argentinian VPN is ready to go!

Im pretty sure it starts billing you if you dont cancel after trial finishes, so remember to cancel!
    Go celtics!

  • Games start tomorrow dough… doughhhh.

  • Yeh requires you to make purchase of the package with cc details but charges your card after trial period so you can cancel before then but beware you need to provide your cc details before getting the free trial.

  • How to cancel the subscription. I could not find any cancellation button in my account.

    • Same here.

Can someone also clarify, do your funds on your credit card actually get held for a certain amount of time, but then released when you submit the offer? Because appears my credit card has been debited.

For anyone considering this, I highly recommend looking into the cheaper and superior 'Ballstreams'. I grabbed it last season after hesitating for a little and now I wouldn't go back to LP.

    • Invite only to become a member?? :(

    • Whirlpool comments on the service have steered me away from it..

      NBA LP it is..

Plus my money goes to the NBA and its development, rather than pirates

      • I'll have to look into the Whirlpool comments to see what they have been saying. I've always been very happy with BS and LP owners that have came around to watch it on my TV have been so impressed they have converted to BS also this season.

ballstream wasnt ideal for me. video was so choppy. really depends on your connection. even tho i was connecting at 10-11mps. i was hitting their servers at 5mbs and still wasnt good enough for a decent stream.
i recommend testing them out for 7 days first.

looked great and wish they had worked for me.

      • Apparently they've put in some AU servers so it might help with the choppy video.

        • when was this?
i just cancelled my subscription. they have asia servers which is in Hong Kong

    • My experience was that ball streams was not superior to signing up via proxy from another country (eg. Argentina).

For those interested, season subscription can be had much cheaper. See https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/159784

    • How is it superior?

      • I've always found it to be consistently higher quality and there are no blackouts.

      • You're also able to 'freeze' your account when you can't use it. So by freezing my account over the offseason, I am still able to watch the majority of this season with my initial subscription from last year.

      • i love watching american ads, the first game i watched, i was greeted with ad about bacon bowls
        http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7zFX/perfect-bacon-bowl-fall-2014

        thought it was hilarious.
wish i could have kept my subscription

        • Edit: not what I was expecting.

  • Their support is horrendously bad, having just dealt with them, you have no hope being an International customer.

If you only want the Trial Offer, way too much hassle.

$160 AUD was what it cost me for the $329 Package buying via Argentina. No proxy or VPN needed.

All that it took was to install the Hola Google Chrome Extension, change the country to Argentina and proceed. Paid with my credit card.

Used a new email and username as I was a previous subscription holder.

Just grabbed a random phone number from an Argentinan Hotel to complete.
