I've tested this on an iPhone6 and works perfectly. Downloaded the December issues of PC Gamer & Official Xbox Mag. Simply follow my instructions below. No CC details required, so rest easy. (T&Cs state it's only available for Android on the UK Google Play store. If someone can confirm it works here, I'll update the post).

  • Click on this link
  • Enter a valid email address
  • Select magazine of choice
  • Select a frequency button, as well as your mobile device type (Apple)
  • Untick the subscription at bottom of page, then click Email me a code
  • You will receive an email with your voucher number & link to the magazine app (check junk mail)
  • Once the mag app is installed on your device, open Newsstand
  • Click on the magazine app you downloaded
  • Redeem your voucher by clicking the Help button at the bottom right, and select Voucher
  • Click on Store at bottom left to download the December issue of the mag completely FREE
  • Repeat 4 times to get your full quota of 5 magazines

Choose from the following magazines: 3D World, Computer Arts, Computer Music, Digital Camera Magazine, Edge, Future Music, Games Master, Guitarist, Imagine FX, Net, N-Photo, Official Xbox Magazine, PC Format, PC Gamer, Photography Week, Photo Plus, Rhythm, SFX, Total Film, Windows 7 Help & Advice

      Yep, no issue at all. Just downloaded my 3rd mag. Read the sentence just above where you enter your email address (You can get a voucher for up to five magazines this month!). Who knows, may be able to get more than 5 :)

      PS. The quality of the Xbox one on my iPad is just incredible.

        You get an email with a link that launches the newsstand but the magazine issues do not appear to be free. I presume that it would be free if you were in the UK. Oh, well gives me an excuse to use my iPad.

          @tomsco: No, just a link for Android. For iPad I got a code to enter and purchase at zero cost.

    I tried signing up for PC Gamer. Got an email with a code but when I tried to enter the code into the voucher prompt, I get an "Invalid code" error. Anyone has the same problem ?
