iNew V3 Plus, MT6592, 1.7GHz, 5 inch HD Screen - USD $159.99 (USD $10 Off) @ CooliCool

inewv3plus

iNew made a killing early on this year with the ultra thin iNew V3 smartphone, and now they have breathed new life in to it with a faster processor and more RAM at the same low price.
The iNew V3 was one of the darlings of the start of 2014. The slime 6.5mm smartphone had a great design, lovely display and easy on the wallet price tag too.

Pre-sales of the iNew V3 Plus have already at $169.99, but by using this coupon code, you can save $10 and get the phone for just $159.99.

    price in title please

    • yes, it's included, $159.99

  • Does the phone actually have "iNew" printed on the back, or is it just in the pictures?

Do you keep the units in stock, or are they drop shipped from another country?

If I could get any of these questions answered, that'd be awesome. Thanks!

  • specs are okayish

    wish battery was bigger
probably would have less then a days usage.
much less with gaming or vidoes.

      like every other phone?

    • Battery is 1800mah, which is fairly small considering the phones 5" size.

Most 4.7 inch devices would have 2000mah battery.

      • indeed i have currently the Doogee Valencia DG800

it has 2000mah battery for a 4.5 inch screen
and the battery feels like it lasts 6 hrs a day under moderate heavy use

  • This looks like the Doogee DG550, if its the same build quality its a good device !

    • You could check previous iNew V3 review via Google, many people state it's very nice:-)

    Not 4G. 4G - must have
    Old OS, 1G RAM;

& so we see why specs were not attached.

    • 2 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM

      • -1

yep — 2GB would be right, i viewed the dated model.
        Still _puny battery/LTE(deal breaker)
Thin, stylish display/sony exmor will be its redemption.

        • Why do you need lte ? Does your google load faster ?

I'm on Vodafone and I keep it on 3g because it uses less battery.I did a speed test and it was 1.5 MB a sec.. That's faster than my home internet

        • @astarman:

Latency. Besides which, all networks should be over to it next yr.
Optus (in my area) is fairly rubbish without it, Vf could be next.

        • @daver:

but do you really see much of a difference when you web browse?

we have barely enough good data / value plans to support the speed

im not ready to stream full hd porn on my 4g yet!

but its good to note… i have streamed youtube on my 3g internet - it was really fast and smooth. i have even torrented a tv series. extremely fast

    The slime 6.5mm smartphone

Well, I guess that means no problem with bending the phone back to shape!

I bought the original V3 back when it was released. The GPS in it is a joke. WiFi reception is also weak. And it has software issues where the battery doesn't charge to full capacity in the phone. Hope they improved it for this one.

    • The last cheap china phone I bought ($200 4.5" screen) also had massive issues with GPS i.e. it would locate me to within 1-5km. The LCD under the glass also started to rust.

      • Yup I also had GPS problems with my last China phone. Couldn't use GPS navigation. Does ones plus this fair any better?

  • Looks like a nice phone, but I found that you can buy the white version on Geekbuying for USD 158.59 without any coupons . If anyone is interested I can try to get a coupon from the shop representative for black vesion specially for OzBargain respected users.

    • yes, it's older version of iNew V3, and this offer is latest iNew V3 Plus, with better specs, MT6592 CPU, 2G ROM, 16G RAM.

      • Oh, sorry, my mistake. Didn't notice the updated specs.

  • inew V3 plus? or Doogee Dagger DG550 ?

  • IF you buy the phone direct from Inew they give you a free cover.
Has anybody bought the old iNew V3 and can recommend it?
