If you get the wired for $20, it will natively work with basically all PC games out of the box.

I got mine for $60 a few years ago from JB. Well worth it!

    • +3

Wireless works exactly the same, and you can connect 4 controllers to the 1 wireless dongle.

      • how does it connect to your pc. it comes with a dongle? or via bluetooth?

        • You need a special receiver which this deal doesn't come with.

        • +2

have to buy a dongle. unless you get the 'for windows' controller pack

        • You need the dongle. It doesn't come with the XBOX 360 Wireless Controller. You can only get it with the XBOX 360 Wireless Controller for Windows. Like this one: http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=601486

Once you have one dongle you can use other XBOX 360 Wireless Controllers though.

        • can yiou buy it seperately.. otherwise wit would seem the dondgle is 17$ more

        • +1

@Gavman: Yep, you can buy it separately. I ordered a cheap one off eBay and works fine.

        • @Gavman:
          This one is for $35:

Can't comment on the dealer though.

          @saaron:

From the item description it's just a wireless controller without the USB receiver? It could be pretty good value if it includes a controller, battery and USB receiver.

Fore those that have controllers and batteries then here's a USB receiver for under $10.

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Black-USB-Gaming-Receiver-For-PC-…

I've been using one for years and years and it works great with multiple 360 controllers connected to my PC.

        • @saaron: $13 to 3072 Vic. Shipping kills it.

        • +1

Can buy the receiver for $11 inc shipping on ebay if you like.

        • @tianyujojo: Yea, that's a kill. :(

        • @c0balt: I don't know, the description and the title says it is for PC as well and doesn't mention need to purchase an extra adapter.
However, as I have not seen this item, I cannot be sure about what the package includes.

If anybody is interested, they better contact the dealer.

        • actually, i am just going to put my brand new controller with the dongle on gumtree for sale, but i am not allowed to post the link here.

        • @alwayseric: How much you're asking for it? You can PM me the link, I might be interested in one.

        • @saaron: you are from vic, the controller is for pick up only (sydney).

        • Paid $2 on eBay and works great ;-)

  • Any PS3 controller deal?

  • +2

Bugger, the wired controller seems to be sold out everywhere in Brisbane and the West side.

    • Don't get wired. Not worth the hassle.

If it's for PC, the Wireless Gaming Receiver is less than $10 delivered on ebay.

  • +2

Damn, can't find a wired controller within 200km of me :(

  • +1

Wheres the wired one? cant see it on dick site?

  • +2

wired one is either not in stock anywhere or doesn't show up properly on dicks sight.
    Comes up with no picture

Yet everyone upvotes this 'deal' like crazy.

      • Well, the wireless one was available for click'n'collect for me when it was posted…considering they generally go for upwards of $50 new, and I paid $26 for a preowned one a couple of months ago, $31.98 here would have been a crazy good price!

  • +1

    no stock everywhere

  • What would I need to buy to get the wireless controller working on PC? And do I need multiple for multiplayer, or does it act as a hub?

    • Please ignore. Google answered my questions. I guess the only other thing is if I can a sub $10 cheapie on Ebay, does anyone know if their performance is any good?

      • +3

The generic ones work fine…my Deal Extreme one has been going strong for years:

        http://www.dx.com/p/pc-wireless-gaming-receiver-for-xbox-360…

According to Whirlpoolians, the ones from this ebay seller are decent too ($8.74 delivered):

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/White-PC-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver…

      • +2

If what I recall reading is true, the official MS one actually sucks - it has a fuse design flaw which breaks after a year or two, pretty common. The third party ones work flawlessly. Someone please correct me if wrong, I don't know for certain personally.

        • +1

I have the genuine dongle and found no problems after frequent use for about two years.

  • Good price. But as always with Dick there's no stock nearby. Who could price match?

    • seeing as it's an 'online only' price you might have trouble. but you could try Big W or JB

  • +2

As usual with dodgy Dick, this product is magically unavailable for delivery and magically completely out of stock in South Australia.

I bet when this special ends they will 'find' a bunch of stock for delivery and collection.

Thanks caitsith01 I have removed the wired controller from the post.

  • Btw, weren't you told to acknowledge when you found bargains from other bargain websites:

(Plus your other deals from today)

    • @Monty — if you did spot the deals from other websites (other than the merchant), please attribute the source.

    • wish i saw this earlier, i guess it's only $7 diff it ended up costing me but still

  • Thanks MM :-)
