  • Nice and cheap however i dont know if i would want to secure something worth $2,000 with something worth $2

  • how is this lock supposed to protect anything with a generic key?

    • Lots of things in the public realm use generic keys.

  • LOL @ ash2000

    squashed this deal…

Anyone else find that 1saleaday is going down hill?

    • They urgently need to sell some heavily discounted branded stock ….. This cheap generic Chinese made stuff won't win any long term supporters.

The US version of this site only sells "Major Brands" : http://www.1saleaday.com/

  • If you only want one, just go to http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.29058 and you'll get it for US$6 delivered

but yeah, above ebay deal is cheaper

  • It has been proven a long time ago that even the Kensington branded locks are easy unlocked with a bent business card so having a generic key or a branded lock wont help. In reality these cables are really only useful to stop thefts of opportunity, a prepared and determined thief will not be stopped by a simple cable and cheap locking mechanism, branded or not.

Either way, not such a great deal, 1saleaday needs to learn from 1-day and start selling some quality gear rather than this sort of generic junk.

    • +1

i remember when choice did a test on these laptop locks. I think it was 1 out of 7 brands could last a screwdriver attack, and from memory about half failed the "pull" attach

  • Still early days guys, we hope to get better and better stuff as we grow.

Appreciate all the feedback, all of it's been taken on board.
