    One plus from me

  • +5

This phone is an absolute beast! The camera is awesome. With wifi and 3G/moderate use this phone has lasted 2.5 days. With no data and 2G and wifi only/moderate use this has lasted close to 4 days.

I got it when DWI had their sale. I haven't used colour OS as mine came with cyanogenmod.

    • +1

Agree with everything! but for the camera you get what you payed for. Its not really high end. Thinking of grabbing a second one for a friend lol.

  • I wish the xiaomi mi4 was available!

    • +6

I wish that chocolate ice cream was free every day.

      • +5

        I wish for world peace.

        • +3

I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat, and a six four Impala.

        • +2

Wow people are really down voting world peace.

        • @mihai.petrescu: Warmongers…

  • What is the difference between the black and white one?

    • +2

      colour difference

    • +3

      Black: 64GB vs White: 16GB

      • FTFY Black and white: 64GB vs White: 16GB
and besides, u can order the back battery cover for $15 on aliexpress, althougj it will take a few weeks, and it looks exactly like the other colour.

    • also feels different in hand.

    • -1

for all those saying white is 16 gb, just to tell them White also comes in 32GB version.

      and difference between them is

White one have silky smooth back finish
while Black have sand texture (like rough rock)

used both..both are amazing but get the Black one (more grip+sexy texture)

      • +1

for all those saying white is 16 gb, just to tell them White also comes in 32GB version.

There's no 32gb version of any OnePlus One. Turns out that it costs the same for them to make a 32gb version or a 64gb version so they went with the 64gb version.

    • Yep, black is exclusively on 64 GB version while white is available on both 16 and 64GB.

  • +10

Dwi have this for $10 more and the delivery is much quicker and seems like it may have better warranty…

    • +2

Thats for 16GB and this is 64GB

      • Umm this is in AUD?
        $455 AUD -> $470 AUD = $15. Soz, $5 off

        • +3

ahh right my bad didnt see the USD part…yeah would definitely go DWI then. I picked up a 64gb from DWI last week actually and received it in 2 business days.

Heard these guys are pretty slow as well. Works out about $450 as well if you get an invite (or next preorder), and use a US mail forwarder. If I was prepared to wait I would do that insteaad.

    • +1

but DWI one is 16GB for $409. 64GB is $470.

      • +5

        and this is $455 AUD

        • +4

ooohh.. this exclusive & special pricing for OzBargain is in USD!! my bad.

        • Mine come up with $468.39 AUD…. How did you get $455 AUD?

      • +22

$460 at DWI if you use coupon RMN2014. Don't need to worry about what your credit card exchange rate is either. Plus you can claim 1.6% (2%?)cashback which essentially makes it cheaper than this deal.

  • +3

Note, it's running on color os

  • anyone knows if this the international or chines version?

    • +2

It would definitely be Chinese. There is no real difference hardware wise unless you're after some specific American 4g bands

    • +6

      Not exclusive, specially

Ouch. Better get me some popcorn and a beanbag, this is gonna get interesting…

    • +3

So now the rep made the OzBargain cheap with its deceit move "OzBargain EXCLUSIVE". Now I feel offended by by bestgear rep. Boooo

  • +1

Uh ohh… Exclusive to who exactly?

  • +2

does this have the same 2 month delivery time as the 16gb OPO posted few days ago from the same company? might as well wait for a better deal from a company who can post it before the one plus two gets announced LMAO.

  • +1

This is rather tempting, I installed Cyanogen on my current mobile 2.2 year old mobile phone so I thought I could hold out for next year's flagship phones. Now I'm torn apart :S

    • +4

I'm in the same boat. Just installed Cyanogenmod to my S3 and bought a new battery. So far so good, feels like my nexus7 now.

      • Did you use the Installer or did you use the other method? The installer gave the the M8 version of Cyanogen

        • I followed the cyanogen wiki and used Heimdall, running cm11 nightly. The camera crashed once but a reboot fixed that.
I think cm8 is the latest stable.

        • @egads: My camera crashes pretty often on M8. I have to restart the phone. I'm using the international version.

The rotation of the camera is also funny sometimes, when I'm holding it vertical it takes horizontal shots, vice versa.

      • My s3 only became usable once I installed cynogenmod and got rid of touch wiz. One gig or ram just couldn't cut it in the end.

        • +2

i done the same to my s4, got the anker 7800mah extended battery and installed cyanogenmod, its good enough till the next wave of smartphones.

        • I was going to get a new phone then I installed cm11. Feels like a new phone.
Still. I wont mind a phablet. but I am really not keen on 2 months for it to get to me.

        • where did you buy the anker from?

        • @2842: ebay, really good battery lasts 7 days for me, moderate use

  • +1

Really tempted, whether to wait & get the N6, or just go ahead with this.

edit: will go with the OPO.

  • Does this have a microSD slot? The product description on the Gearbest page says yes but I've heard that it doesn't.

  • is this one with cyanogen mod by default or that other one ?

    • +2

      ● Color OS for total control

  • +8

    Ebay - AU $474.99
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OnePlus-One-4G-LTE-QUAD-CORE-3GB-…

    gearbest.com - AU $468.39 (after applying code - ONEPLUS64)

Difference - AU $6.6. Is it correct?

    • +8

I got mine of DWI ebay store last week for $468.44 ($478 - 2% cashrewards)

And that includes priority shipping and CM11s pre flashed (beneficial for the non-power users)

So I wouldn't consider this a bargain compared to other sellers.

      • +2

I am about to buy one off DWI eBay store. Can I please ask how long does it take to arrive and does it support TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE? The only reason I buy it is for using in China (stupid China Mobile doesn't support FDD-LTE).

  • +1

Does this one support TD-SCDMA AND TD-LTE?

  • +4

$457AU - I would not call this a bargain, has been floating around this price at DWI/eglobal and other similar stores, even cheaper with coupons and cashrewards. Not to mention you'll be paying even more if you're using paypal to convert (not a good idea) or your bank charges you for international transactions (most of them)

    • +3

Don't forget their super slow shipping.

  • +3

Not international version ….no deal and definately needs to be less than $399AU

  • +4

Bit misleading putting the price in $USD. At least on the inferior TopBargains, its in Australian currency at $456 delivered. Was holding off for the Nexus 6 but that 5.9" display is just too big coming from a 3.5"…

    • +2

"that 5.9" display is just too big coming from a 3.5"…"

      That's what she said

  • +1

Non-international, Color OS. Not a good deal.

  • +2

Been thinking of upgrading from my S2. Would I be better off getting this or waiting for S5 to cheapen a little more?

  • +1
    • +8

Wow, that seller has quite a unique warranty:

  • +6

I bought my 64GB OnePlus One from DWI during the eBay 15% off sale. Although they oversold the phone I still received it within 10 days of purchase (or 3-4 days after they shipped the phone). It came with CM11S (33R) and after that I received one OTA update (38R).
Personally very happy with the device… only one small complaint is the known touch screen issue which should be fixed in the next update. I haven't found any Yellow banding or GPS problem yet. Performance and Battery life is great and specially loving CyanogenMod.

DWI is currently selling the 64GB version is for AUD$481 which is little high due to weak AU Dollar, however after the 2% cash back from cashrewards, the price difference with Gearbest is very minimal. So can recommend DWI for faster shipping and (hopefully) better customer service if you need one in future.

    • +1

the 15% + cashback 2% made it really cheap

      at about $386

how can u tell if u have the yellow banding…?

if u do have it is very hard to tell completely since if u angle it slight you can see some yellowing but not sure
if u actually see yellow or think you are seeing yellow…

Overall it is hard to tell if u have yellow or not

      • +1

No yellowing on mine! There are touchscreen issues (minor), but that should be fixed next update as bappy says.

      • @tyler.durden
I think the easiest way to find yellow banding is to open a wallpaper with complete white background or open a new tab in chrome… You will find the banding generally on the bottom part of the display…

        • +1

Yes, that is what I did

but the point I was making is hard to tell if you are seeing yellow or imaging/projecting seeing yellow..

yellow tint might be so slight that is hard to tell if it is yellow or not..

and if u angle it slightly, you might see some yellow..but again it is hard to tell…if actually see yellow or think you see yellow..

Just try to see if from different angle and you will see what I mean…

  • +4

By the time these are delivered (2015???) regular local price will be lower!

    • Think they might have the successor out by then as well!

  • +9

I am "still" waiting for the delivery of my "June 2014" online order from GearBest. Now is already "November 2014".

    Very disappointed.

(May / already) lost 100% of my money. Definitely not a bargain (at all for that order).

  • +10

The exclusive comment is really starting to annoy me.
4 times it's mentioned in the description.
OP please remove it, you are not fooling anyone.

  • +2

How many months does the shipping take?

    • .c

  • Just one question really… based on android 4.4 right, so it does have android play store/market/whateveryouwanttocallitnow?

    • No, it's Color OS

You need to flash Cyanogenmod to get Play Store.
