Some Bris > LAX $826 Return Late (Jan 2 weeks)

    • Gahhh I paid $1086!!!

  • For travel outbound 1 Nov - 16 Dec, 23 - 31 Dec 2014, 12 Jan - 15 Mar 2015 and return 1 Nov - 31 Dec 2014, 12 Jan - 29 Mar 2015.

So are there any inbound restrictions? When i search 25 march outbound and 2 october inbound it gives me an error.

    • Flights might not be released for 2nd October 2015 yet. They normally get released around 10-11 months in advance depending on the airline and the time of year.

    RE:LAX, don't do it

    • The AirNZ terminal in LAX is actually bearable for the return flights. However immigration in LAX is still painful. Also ANZ Black credit card holders get to use the Emperor lounge in New Zealand for free.

      • Air NZ will be shifting their departures to TBIT from the existing Terminal 2 from December 3 (http://www.voxy.co.nz/business/air-nz-announces-december-mov…). That said, the improvements they're making to TBIT should make things more bearable.

I went thru LAX in June and found the immigration process fast and easy.

        • to me the worst part about LAX is finding the right shuttle bus to board and where

        • @Tal_Shiar:
you mean to get between terminals?

        • @MelbBargainChaser77: once your past customs and you're outside, that was a lot for me to take in, just wasn't expecting it to be THAT chaotic

    • When you want to get to it

I was at LAX 5 separate times in June and didn't have a single problem, I actually found customs a lot better than here in Melbourne when departing.

      • +1

I don't gave have a problem with LAX either.

It's not the greatest, but I've seen much more unpleasant airports too.

  • Cheapest I found for Adelaide is $1005, anyone manage to find cheaper? If so what are the dates.

Hoping for similar prices to come up around June-August.

Aren't we all. These deals are generally around the "Colder" months though…

  • Has anyone flown air nz? What's the service like? These deals are getting to be to hard to ignore

    • first ever overseas flight was with them this time last year…couldnt fault them at all, although i did have premium economy from AKL>LAX

  • Why do these good deals always seem to end in March? I'm looking for somewhere to go for my 40th towards the end of April but can never seem to find anything cheap :(

I've noticed this also for all things travel.
I'm going to start a rumour that it's related to the FBT year

    • There is more demand for travel during school holidays.

  • Wow! Thanks champ.
