Wall of text is too high to climb…

  • whats 25000 reward points in money / petrol vouchers?

    • $100-$125

Haha went from 50,000 to 25,000, beware you may be waiting many months for the points, I'm still waiting for the points from the July offer

    • I got them the month after I applied…

    • Think that happened with the Black cards. The others seem to be ok.

I"m not convinced that they're even going to honour the points offer. I've been waiting for months.

    • Allot of people missed out on the first round of points allocation i got all mine in the first distribution.. The second lot of points have still not been sent to anyone yet!

  • I cancelled my ANZ Frequent Flyer card last month after receiving the 50k points. Can't see anywhere in the T&C's that suggest I wont be able to redeem this offer as well, unless anyone else has read something I haven't?

Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Frequent Flyer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum or ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card within the previous six months

      • I got the black card in the last offer, I was thinking about getting the other 2 types but judging by that I might not be eligible for the points :/

  • This offer applies only once per customer.

Was this in the T&Cs of the previous deal?

    • Nice spotting, I noticed this too and can't recall this being in the previous deal. Looks like they've tightened the t&c's this time round.

On the last deal with 50k points, I confirmed with CS that I'd be entitled to 50k on each product. That said, I'm still yet to receive 50k on my Black, but received 50k within the first month of the Regular card.

Although from what I've seen, all members with Black are still waiting regardless if it was one (only card) or more products they signed up for.

Edit: ANZ did say initially in their t&c's that it'll take 4 months after the spending criteria was met. It's coming up to my 4 month billing cycle so hopefully it'll appear soon. If not I'll be back onto the phone with CS!

I'm in the same boat but with Platinum. so its not just the Black.

        • I'm still waiting on my points from the Platinum too - been 3 billing cycles for me!

      • I got 50k for Platinum (first card) but waiting on the regular & black.
Though I'm happy to report that Mr & Mrs muncan were able to get access to the Emperor lounge at Aukland airport twice enroute to LAX with the two black cards (rewards + FF).

        • Ill be using that lounge in Feb via my black…your thoughts on it please?

        • @MelbBargainChaser77: the food is limited (but nicely presented), the drinks are acceptable (and nicely presented), the lounge is nice (no announcements but there are monitors), bathrooms and showers are hotel class. Fixing yourself a scotch 'n coke at 6:30am is acceptable behaviour. Sure beats staring at humanity's best while waiting for your flight. Wifi is available throughout the airport so it's not a selling point for the lounge. Both times we were there there was only one or two other guests there. Very peaceful.

        • @muncan:
I'm pleased to read that their is shower facilities . Will be using that both ways. We have 4 hour layover on the way to lax then 10 hour layover in akl on the way back. We intend to explore akl during those 10 hours. So a shower will be lovely before the small hop to melb. Thanks

I was like you, applied for a standard and black, got the standard card' 50k very fast, and the 50k for the black has just posted today…4 months and 1 day after I applied.

        • Thanks for the heads up!

Great to hear you got it. My billing cycle will tick over to the 4th month in about a week so it's reassuring that you got yours already =)

  • 3 months on and still waiting for my 50K points after applying for the ANZ Black card.

  • Black card and still waiting since July.

  • Same, still waiting from the last offer…

  • Still waiting for 100,000 of my 150,000 FF bonus points too. Getting nervous as I havent cancelled all my cards and the end of the year is nigh. No bonus points received for my 3x ANZ Rewards accounts yet either.
Sounds like we may be re-eligible in future from the T&C's after closing our accounts for at least 6 months. Assuming the offer continues in 2015+.

  • i didnt get a chance to input my qantas ff details. anyone else?

  • Couldn't see it in the fine print on the page, but is there a definition for 'eligible purchase'? Is it a certain amount?

    • In my experience there is no minimum spend - just needs to be a purchase (ie not a cash advance, BPAY etc).
A mars bar at coles will do it.

  • Finally got my 50k points from the last offer… closed the account this morning. How long do we have to wait to do it again?

    • Applied for the NAB bonus, got instant approval - here comes another 20k

  • had to call up to link qantas ff account to the card..

  • What's better? FF points or ANZ points?

  • i registered recently fir the ANZ rewards black and was told that for me to be eligible for the 25000 points i would need to spend at least $1500 within the first three months of activation. Anyone else been told this? im not to this bank and to this offer.

    • Yes that's what you are required to spend.
