[eBay] $50 US PSN Card for $51.84 AUD @ Zoowhouse eBay

120
CWORLDOFTOYS

Similar to the Dungeon Crawl deal though I think zoowhouse sends the physical game cards out instead of the codes, so there's a bit of a wait before you receive the codes (4 days hopefully). 420 sold so hopefully it will come through all right. I bought 2 for AU 103.68.

  • Will this CWORLDOFTOYS code work on the Xbox live subscription cards too?

    • You can try it out. On the ebay page of the item, just add the item to your shopping cart. Click view cart, then proceed to checkout. Just above the proceed to pay button, there's an option for you to apply a code. Once you have entered the code and clicked Apply, it should show you the price and the 20% discount.

  • Is the code still working?

    • Yes it should. Works through to 11th nov.

      • Cool..will order some then.

  • Guys, I just checked Paypal and have been charged the full amount for the 2 cards (AUD 129.60). I also made a separate purchase for a 3ds game using "CWORLDOFTOYS" and was also charged the full amount. Not sure what's going on. I am calling up ebay now as the code worked and when i went through to the paypal screen, it showed the discount but for some reason I have been charged the full amounts on both counts. I will update this thread as soon as I get a response. Best to hold off on buying using the CWORDOFTOYS code for now.

EDIT: All good, under transactions in Paypal, it shows the full amount of AUD 129.60. I then expanded the transaction and it shows that eBay international pays AUD25.92 whilst the remaining AUD103.68 will be paid by my source of funds.

  • +1

It is $58 through Amazon US?
    So save $6?

    • With our dollar + transaction fees i reckon you save a couple more dollars than that.

  • Well for me its showing up as $99.99 per $50 card… so back to amazon for me

  • Wow, bumped up to $99.95 now.

I grabbed it for $64.80 (less 20%)… but rather than having the code emailed to me, it looks like it's being posted to me. Weird.

I think i'll go back to using Amazon as well. It may be a couple of dollars more, but you get the code instantly.

  • Has anyone received their PSN cards from zoowhouse? My delivery was supposed to arrive on 12th Nov but hasn't yet arrived. I have contacted the seller and am waiting to hear back.

    • +1

My two got marked as shipped on the 11th at 5:27pm with a note of delivery time 3-5 days. I will allow that to be 5 full business days assuming they didn’t actually get sent until the 12th. If I don’t get them today then I will contact.

  • +1

While seller has been communicating, I've not received my two either. :\

  • +1

Nah haven't received my two yet either.

  • +1

Nothing today either. Something's smelling ratty…

  • Thanks for responding guys. I haven't heard from the seller either after sending him an email and opening a case via ebay. I will get ebay to dispute and claim a refund via paypal. Sorry about this guys, looks like it's a dud. I will keep you posted on how things go.

    • Yeah, just escalated it to a claim with eBay.

Sellers like this give eBay a bad name. Not your fault mate!

      • Thanks Graffin, not looking too good. Two emails and no response. Unfortunately I have wait till the window for seller to respond expires on the 24th before I can escalate. Yeah, a lot of duds on eBay. I bought some DS cartridges and they turned out to be fakes too.

  • Maybe we should have looked at the feedback first - http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&u…

Lots of negatives about never shipping.

I contacted the seller after the estimated date of November 12 passed and asked if he could just email the code to me or provide me with any tracking info.

Nothing. No reply whatsoever. Great customer service… not!

I hope i'm not going to have to go through the whole PayPal dispute process to get my money back!

    • I still haven't received any items or response from the seller.

Disputed via PayPal, negged on ebay. Not worth anymore time pursuing.

      • eBay has refunded me the money… and after that, I get a reply from the seller…

        Hello Robert,

I apologize for the delayed response.

Your order of the $50 USD PSN Card should have definitely arrived by now as it was dispatched quite some time ago.

I'll get onto AusPost immediately and have them track down the parcel for you.
If your parcel cannot be located I will be more than happy to send you out a replacement immediately or issue you with a full refund.

Please let me know which option you would prefer should this be the case.

May I confirm your postal address as being:

        <removed by me>

        Kind Regards,
        Chris.

Thanking you for your patience and support in the matter.

Always Australia Post's fault… bought one from Amazon for $58.07 AUD… had it within seconds.

        • No reply to my enquiry.

  • +1

You can get his contact details - http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch?_sofindtype=9
I have, and if it doesn't arrive, i will call him first.

    • Thanks for that. Don't know what good it'll do though. Whitepages seems to have a different number for him.

Hmmm… I wonder if he's on Facebook? Yep, he is, so is the supposed company he works for, but neither page has been updated for over a year.

  • One message offers to send replacements, the next says he's run out of stock. Funny how the listing remains with an apparent 10+ in stock…

    Reported to eBay, ignored.

Got a refund, but not at all happy.

    • It makes me wonder if the refunds are coming from the seller's account or if eBay is coughing up each time the seller rips someone off? If it's the latter, no wonder this guy continues to list items he doesn't have and will never send out.

He should be banned from selling on eBay.

I got my refund, but not happy being jerked around by this seller.

    • Did eBay ignore your complaint? I have lodged one in that hope there will be a large enough number of complaints against zoowhouse to prompt some sort of disciplinary action. This clearly is a scam. Hope to get my refund soon.

      • +1

No, eBay even sent me an email asking if there was a problem and as soon as the deadline date of Nov. 20 passed, I escalated it and had a refund within 24 hours.

I hope this seller gets banned. He's clearly dishonest and a time-waster.

  • Hi Guys,

Just asked ebay to step in this morning. I also included a note FOR ebay to either delist this seller or take some form of disciplinary action based on our collective feedback. The seller's poor conduct and contradictory messages to those buyers whom he actually responded to points to the fact that these transactions were fraudulent.

Hope we all get our money back as soon as possible and never have to deal with this seller again - i.e. if he does get shut down by eBay, they will have some way of preventing the seller from opening another account in the future.

For everyone's peace of mind and reference, I will make another post once my case has been resolved and my refund has been received.

  • Hey guys somehow I found my way to this post.. not related to the PSN card, but I ordered Cod:Aw from this seller and they provided me with a fake tracking number despite not having sent the item out. Anyway in short, this seller is a total scam and liar. I hope eBay bans him for this.

    • Lots of feedback re fake tracking numbers. What is odd is that is a ton more positive feedback, so they obviously do a lot right, but then they screw so many others over.

So my case which I filed last week hit the day it could have eBay step in today. I looked at it last night to confirm this. I just looked again to take action and there is a message from these morons.
I will give him one chance to email me the codes so I can redeem immediately, if not then full refund.

Here is the message I got last night, after I looked. What is odd is that I received no notification from ebay this message had been sent.

Hello , Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your order of the $50 USD PSN Card should have definitely arrived by now as it was dispatched quite some time ago. Edit: Dates showing on eBay are wrong, no date US based. They only sent a message this morning, no doubt after receiving contact from eBay.

      • I contacted these guys on the 18th and did not get a reply back. Which left me with no choice but to open a case with eBay. So far no response from either of them, the case still shows:

Hang on, we're still reviewing your case
We'll be in touch with you soon

I bought this with the 20% off discount on toys a few weeks ago. What a waste! Had I known this seller was such a scam I'd have avoided them like the plague and purchased elsewhere.

        • They just issued a full refund and didn't respond to my last contact. Scum!!!
Zoowhouse posts should be banned from OzB.

        • They had a fantastic deal on Pikmin 3 during that sale. Not one person received any of the 10 copies of the game that they had. They say that they've got stock in but they're just pretending to send them out. They really should be banned from eBay.

  • He continues to advertise the PSN cards, despite telling me he had no stock to supply replacements… I have received a refund, but am anything but happy.

I submitted a fraud report to eBay and received a reply that sounded like they were taking it seriously. Time will tell, I guess.

Can you buy eBay feedback like you can buy Twitter follows or Farcebook likes? Based on my experience and many others here it seems the only explanation for this shyster having any positive feedback at all.

    • Wouldn't be surprised if they were! I'm going to report them to eBay as soon as I get my refund. What pisses me off isn't so much that they failed to deliver but lying about shipping it, blaming auspost for "missing parcels" (when they didn't even ship it in the first place), ignoring messages and having the buyer chase them for their money back is just despicable. It's just a matter of time before this business goes down the drain.

  • How long did you guys wait to put in a dispute? I bought two things from them and a week later they still haven't arrived. Looking at their feedback and the posts here it's unlikely I'll get my item. Would 7 days be too early to open a dispute? I want my money back so I can buy it somewhere else.

    • +1

7 days is more than long enough to deliver. You probably received a Sent Item message that tells you how long to expect. Lodge the complaint now.

      • Thanks, yeah it said 3-8 days so I guess I'll give them a bit longer.

        • Wait until the 8 days is up, then open a dispute. They most likely won't reply back and if they take too long, eBay steps in and makes sure you get a refund.

        • Just a tip, don't bother opening a case with eBay… do it with paypal! Yes its the same company but eBay reps are near useless! All they say is say wait it out whereas with paypal if the seller doesn't respond or provide proof of shipment within a timeframe you automatically get your refund back.

Haha, I got reamed by this seller too. I pre-ordered the Smash Bros GC adaptor bundle from them during the 20% off code. Got a message on Friday that the product had been sent, then another on Sunday afternoon about a "recall" from Australia Post. Of course now they're selling them on Ebay for $200, and I'm completely out of luck. Apparently I will be refunded but I have no idea what this sellers game is. Extremely shady. How can they still have a 98% rating :/

    • +1

They sent me a message on ebay stating there was an electrical fault at their head office and won't be able to reply to messages until it's resolved. It's just excuse after excuse. Hopefully I can get my money back…

      • +1

A lot of excuses, one says faulty product, another says internet issues, another says electrical fault. What a bunch of crooks. I'm gonna report them to the ACCC.. these people should not be able to conduct business. I've never seen a worse seller on eBay ever!

        • It seems the new release items are conveniently "going missing" in the post. I think either they are literally taking people's money and not sending the item or they are drop shipping from the UK or Hong Kong without saying so in the listing. Either way they are lying. I got a refund in 3 days for both my items and will never be shopping with them again. I'm more disappointed that eBay takes no action even when a seller that has 140,000 feedback gets 30-40% negative feedback in a single month, that should be a red flag for an investigation.

        • Yeh I'm extremely disappointed in eBay as well. I've yet to receive my refund which was requested on the 18/11.. All their emails just say 'keep waiting'.. the first one said wait 4-7 days, after that wait another 24 hours.. now its been 3 days after the last email and still haven't got my money back.
