    Holy guacamole that is cheap.

Does anyone know if anyone sells oddly sized TVs? 34 to 38 inches? I have a wall where an opening door means I can only really fit a 32 inch or risk a 40 inch with a really thin bezel.

    hory sheet

Been looking for a half decent 32in for under $300 for xmas but this is perfect timing lol

I got one myself. 40" under $270…anyone even seen that before?

    • +2

I've never seen one that cheap..

Mum's going to be stoked when she gets her new TV LOL

if you elect to not disclose the cost price - she'll probably just assume you dropped a lazy 1k.
The older generation still have their heads there, in those kinds of prices - I should know…I am one :)

hmmm, just wondering how much I can sell my 32" for so that the upgrade cost is minimal. tempting deal. very very tempting

    • I just took a look on ebay. 32" completed listings - it would give you a pretty good idea of where the market price is for your TV. Anything over 3 figures and you'll get that I assume - makes this a worthwhile buy?

tempted to get this to wallmount in my bedroom and add a Chromecast.

  • How does it compare to this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/166332

    • quite well from what I hear. anyone got personal experience?

  • I dont mean to be rude but this looks too good to be true… what are the Cons to something like this?

    • all indications is that its a really good panel.
      Been positive feedback on them.
Im sure it wont be as good at a $3k 4k model - but my reading tells me it represents excellent bang for buck.

Thanks got one for our outside area

  • How do the DSE TV's compare to the Changhong ones? To me the DSE = Soniq = Kogan? as the specs all look very similar.

Previously bought a 32" Soniq TV but it dies after about 14 months. Was not worth claiming on Extended warranty given the $250 excess payable.

I was looking at the 40" Changhong with 3 year warranty for about $332.10 ($369 less 10%). Does anyone have any reviews/advice on this brand?
    Thanks

This one good enough as a pc monitor?

SH*T… I bought one when I posted that deal. Now even cheaper.

  • hehehe Windows 7. Happy to send you the $2.49 difference for bringing this TV to my attention in the first place :)

  • By now we can all be pretty sure the '10TONIGHT; 10% discount DOES in fact extend to well over the 300 orders that they originally stated would get that discount.

  • JB HiFi has the Soniq for $299 now also. It looks nicer than the DS with a thinner looking Bezel. Considering getting it. Also, the DS says it has Composite and not component. Whereas the Soniq has component. The Kogan is also $299 now.

  • Bought one! This site is gonna send me broke… Slowly!!

  • Anyone gaming on this model? Other comments elsewhere for a DSE 40"fullHD tv complain of nasty input lag making gaming no good..

  • I was in store yesterday and looked at the display model.
The sound seemed really thin and tinny to me? I have a 7 year old LG lcd and the sound by comparison on that old one is great. But the dick smith one seems on a par with my cheap conia.
Is that the same as everyone else's experience? I got so sick of the sound on the conia that I bought a sound bar but then got sick of having all the remotes around!

    • All TVs have garbage sound. Some may sound less crap than others but they're universally pretty bad.

  • Again, the caveat for this TV is that it doesn't do 1080p.

  • Picked it up today and gave it a test run, looks pretty decent. Little bit of noise on 1080p videos with high bit rates but it is amazing value for money!

  • I just tested it with a PS4 quality seems pretty good on first appearance though the package didn't include the neck to attach to the mount and so need to call them up.
