No love for Perth?
Perth <—> Melbourne $149 each way… isn't that the normal price if you book well in advance?
The last Tiger special I took advantage of (5 weeks ago) wasnt worth the hassle in the end.
They bumped our flight to put more bums on the next Tiger flight, and I ended up sitting at the airport for an extra 3 hours for nothing. The flight itself was less than 1 hour from Melbourne to Sydney.
Stuff that. Tiger can go get stuffed… Virgin all the way from now on!
(I'm not negging because there are people who love Tiger and would appreciate this deal, but I have a MAJOR issue with this retailer and the rules are begging that I give it a neg)
I've flown Tigerair 7 times so far and 4 of those flights ended up being canceled/rescheduled. Also have a trip to Melbourne coming up next week with Tigerair and what do you know, both out/inbound flights have been rescheduled. Then again, all those flights were paid using free vouchers so I probably shouldn't be complaining…
Good thing about reschedules though is that they allow you to change your flight times and date (within 7 days of original flight iirc), so managed to get a better timed flight which was a lot more expensive for the same price.

Tigerair Australia's parent company is Virgin Australia.

Always had a good experience with them. Might be owned by same company, but customer experience is far different between the two.
