Today's special clearance deal is the Corsair LS 120GB 2.5" SSD.

    Pass.

    It uses a controller from a largely unknown manufacturer (Phison) that only one other SSD has featured, and it is decisively budget-oriented in terms of performance (it's about 2 generations behind in terms of read/write performance).

    For $60 dollars shipped, it may be a deal, but at $79 dollars shipped, there is just no reason why anyone should favour this over a tried-and-true Samsung Evo 840 120GB, a Crucial M500 120GB or a SanDisk Ultra II 120GB, all of which can be had for the same price or a few dollars more.

  Not a bad deal, I'd only been look at these on PCCG @ $99 recently. While a little small for my requirements I still give +1 because it's a good price for that particular item.
