  • It will be this price from 3-5pm today?
    In store / online?

    • Yeah 3-5pm and online only

  • would these be better than the soundsticks III?
I'm using the sound sticks for my TV atm (and it sux)

    • Your soundstick's subwoofer is better than this 3 inch "sub woofer" sound bar. Probably better off looking at a 2.1 system or soundbar + subwoofer to beat your soundsticks.

      • hmm thanks, this also seems to be Yamaha's entry level soundbar… as some reviews mention, this is probably suited to smaller rooms / TVs

  • These sound great. Awesome price. Shame they're not the YAS-103 which are the same but with Bluetooth. Still, at this price is tempting to forego the BT.

Trent, you seem to be the guru when it comes to hifi. Are you able to PLEASE find me/us a nice deal on the YAS-203. Been looking for a while, and best I can find is in-store at Good Guys for $375 after some haggling. This will be my xmas gift to me. Cheers buddy :)

  • yeah this is a nice price but connections are a bit limited to optical and coaxial cable,,no HDMI..

    • Basically 90% of all sound bars do not have Hdmi for some reason

      • +2

HDMI is primarily visual, and is licensed technology (ie you have to pay to put in in your product)

  • Panasonic Soundplate or this? Any comment?

Personally I think Yamaha is better at making Audio Equipment

  • 3-5pm Eastern Standard Time?

How does this compare with the YAS-152 from the COTD deal for $179?
