Important one - 4. Promotion commences on 15/11/2014 and ends at 5:00pm AEDST on 31/12/2014 (“Promotional Period”).

    • Also, not that they'll check this, but:
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

Promotor I guess means working for Microsoft/Nokia, retailers are Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, JB HiFi or Allphones retailer, agencies not sure.

That's a big chance that some step-sister/cousin/nephew is going to be working for one of these companies.

" To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase a Nokia Lumia 630, 635, 636 735, 830 or 930 handset (either on contact or outright) from any Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, JB HiFi or Allphones retailer, or a website for an aforementioned retailer, within Australia during the Promotional Period. For the removal of doubt, purchases made from Kogan or any retailer outside of Australia are not eligible for this promotion"…Should also be able to claim this skype freebie https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/167463

Thanks for posting the Ts & Cs all. Was having a coffee and posting from a mobile phone. I get home and see that you have already taken care of that detail.

    Love.
    This.
    Community.

  • Can it be prepaid phone from telco or does it have to be unlocked?

  • -4
    • won't work will it? T&C's are limited to a few retailers only right?

    • I think not Kogan from the term.

Is it because of the new Microsoft 5" phone coming?

  • Can we sticky up a list of the best Lumia deals to suit?

    BigW would be excluded?

  • Vodafone Nokia Lumia 630 PrePaid $99 after cashback.

  • $198 unlocked, plus the gift card for the 630 at harvey norman seems like a deal.

I'd highly recommend paying the extra ~$40 and getting the 636 from Optus (unlocked). It's the exact same phone but with 4G LTE and more importantly it has 1GB of RAM compared to the 630/635s 512MB. The difference is huge between 512MB and 1GB in terms of actual performance on Windows Phones.

      • +2

I second this. I'm typing this on a work issued 630 which is starting to show its lag after using it for some time now.

It appears that many of the new apps released are not installable on a 512 mb phone. Pay the extra and het more mileage out of your phone long term…

  • aparently Lumia 735 worth the spending, for example HN has it for less than 400, other places must be cheaper :) http://www.harveynorman.com.au/phones-accessories-gps/phones…

Better buy it from DSE $334 with code before cashback.

Not sure if you can still claim $100 if buy today.

  • +1

Combine with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/169862 for $309 before cashback, $209 after.

    • DSE "megatastic rewards" ($40 off on the 735 price) ends today so yep, good find.

  • Why wouldn't they include the 1520???

    • It's an old model.
      Notice the only phones included are x30s? They're WP8.1 phones - the 1520 is a WP8 phone :)

  • Officeworks not included? Damn!

  • bought 735, completed the claim online, was told the voucher would be received within the month, but did not receive any email confirmation, a bit strange

    • After submitting the claim you will receive an email asking you to submit your proof of purchase.

      • thanks for letting me know, looks like I need to submit the claim again

        • I don't think you do. Wait a few days and you will receive an email from Microsoft asking you to submit your proof of purchase. Once you do that you will receive a message that you will receive your gift card within 2 weeks.

        • @unity1: ok, thanks again

Received the gift card. Thanks OP & Microsoft.

Note it comes in a Microsoft enevelope via regular post. It may well be Merry Christmas for a few posties out there.

  • Did you guys use your tax invoice number as the 'receipt' number?

    • yes, submitted the claim a week ago, have not received any response from Microsoft

    • I used the receipt number. On the purchase docket. Bought from Dick Smith. Never heard anything. Doubt I will now. Not happy.

      • +1

I purchased from DS and used my order number as the receipt number. Be patient guys. They will respond, eventually.

  • I purchased Nokia Lumia 735 from DS online, I have filled in the claim form using "Click and Collect" number which shown on the DS invoice and submitted online via this link http://www.saverscene.com.au/mobile-phones/20020-buy-lumia-redeem-your-free-gift-card-upt-$100-coles-myer-group.html. But it said "Sorry, you weren’t able to register". I have tried many times, but did not get through. Anyone have the same problem as me?

    • The same happened to me… just emailed them and let's see what they say.

      • Keeps us up to date on this please, as I'm thinking of buying one from Dicksmith soon.

      • Same here. What email address did you send to?

        • Just to add that I purchased my Lumia 735 from Harvey Norman.
The email address is: [email protected]
This is the email address they used to contact me for one of my previous purchase of a Lumia 630 (although not qualified as it fell outside of the promotional period) >_<

Okay I just tried again and I got this "Sorry, we were unable to capture your registration due to technical problem on our website. Please try again later."

          Oh well Nokia and Microsoft…

      • Hi Fox, did you receive any response from Microsoft?

        • I have not heard from them via email since… but I did call them and was told they will escalate this with their "case manager"… who knows what's gonna happen next… it's been a few days since I've made the call so let's wait for some more days, oh well…

  • Still have not received an email from Microsoft. Submitted the receipt number on Wednesday (3/12). Anyone else in the same boat?

    • same here, and I submitted the claim on 26/11
