The Sony SRSX5 plus free SRSX2 bluetooth speakers at Myer for $199. I saw the price yesterday and purchased today at Morley. The salesman knew nothing about reduced price or Sony promo with the SRSX2 freebie so he had to check online to confirm. Price in shop still scanned as $279.

I returned a SRSX3 + X2 combo on weekend from JB HiFi because SRSX3 turns off after 15min if no activity. The SRSX5 can be left in standby mode to always at the ready without the need to swipe NFC or tiurn on power. A feature I was after.

Also note that this is 240v plug pack powered not micro USB as most other portables. I won't be using it as portable anyway so no big deal.

    Review here says at higher volume, more than 50% it is really bad compare to Bose Mini.

    OP can you confirm the promo is still on. Checked Myer online and it only shows the SRSX5 @$199. i.e. No SRSX2 bundled.

    I can confirm this is now working online. No coupon needed. I called the Online Shopping help centre yesterday and they said they would fix the glitch overnight. Went on this morning and bought it :) great deal
