  • Not a bad router. In general it performs pretty well. Not so great when it comes to long range/poor signal, however.

  • Do you need a different power supply?

    • I don't know about US stock, but every Australian TP-Link product I've seen, even the cheapest $20 modems, has been 100-240V.

      • He's right, I have the Aussie version (I paid $175) and just checked the power supply..It states the Input is 100-240V~50/60Hz 1.2A Max..

        I'm very happy with it….a steal at this price..

        PS Don't feel so bad afterall…I also got the AC adaptor free via redemption(amen)and just noticed that Amazon wants US$40 for it http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Archer-T4U-Wireless-One-Button…

        • would that work? that is an AC1750 modem and this band (USB) is AC1200

        • +1

          @frysie:

          Just had a look at mine and it's the same unit (AC1200) and it seems to work OK…..

  • I bought this router and it fixed the problems I was having with my netcomm. Pretty happy with it.

  • The Amazon comments say it's 120 V.

    • That would be highly unusual.

  • Does it need a adapter ?

  • I'm not understanding the coupon part. Is there a coupon code online that I'm not aware of?

  • Where is the coupon ?

  • Ensure to check reviews, I wasn't so impressed. Sibling bought the D7, seems a lot better than this, review wise.

    • Do you have V1.0? That has an older WiFi chip while V2.0 uses the same QCA9880-BR4A WiFi chip as the D7 so I'd expect it to perform similarly.
